OT: Arrested Development Season 4 Thread
Fellow Bloggers,
The time has finally come for the return of Arrested Development! Netflix subscribers will be able to stream all 15 episodes starting at 3:00am EDT on Sunday. Please discuss anything and everything below.
Happy watching,
Your friendly neighborhood Balrog
It had some funny parts, but it was strange having it focus on only one storyline. I thought the second episode was better.
I've only watched the first episode so far, but I thought it was very funny. But it was a bit uncomfortable watching Michael be so pathetic.
I find it a rather jarring change to his character, going from the straight man and only competent person in his family to one just as clueless and off the rails as the rest of them.
I knew that was the plan for a long time, so it doesn't bother me. They sort of want this to serve as a way to catch everyone up on what the characters have been up to for the last 8 years. Ideally, then there will be a movie, though Netflix seems more interested in another season.
I enjoyed the workaholics cameo haha. Who else signed up for their free 1 month trail just for arrested development ?
but I'm going to wait until tomorrow, so I can watch it when I'm not half asleep.
It's cool they brought back the entire cast. Now if they could have only brought back the writers....
Pretty good... Tobias' first episode is easily my favorite so far.
Because they all came out at once, it's hard to discuss the show since everyone's at different spots.
Definitely some hilarious parts. Mostly lived up to my expectations. Not necessarily happy with the end. Buster could have been better but GOB was fantastic
