The Loyola-Chicago shirt was ok, but THE Oral Roberts is hilarious!
Happy Friday, everyone.
Who doesn't love Oral today?
Futurama always gets an upvote from me
Avatar checks out
Not sure if upvoting because it is a funny post or just because it's a Futurama reference.

Who doesn't love Oral today?
Plenty of people apparently... for example:

...and especially these fucking losers.
Should trigger a new round of death threats for Liddell
I, unfortunately, snickered at the idiocy of the truth in this comment.
Oof.

A beer for you from the poop cooler:
Ah hahaha!

The day after Dayton beat osu in the tourney, the local paper had a big headline with THE University of Dayton. Loved it!!
LOL. This is well done, subtle yet effective.
Oral and Ohio are both 4 letter words...
waiting for the "Buckeyes got Oral and hated it" shirts.....

BRILLIANT
Yes, one is a BAD four-letter word and one is a GOOD four-letter word.
It's terrific.
(I know some here don't think that "The" is a big deal but it's a clear sign of tOSU's defensive pomposity, determined to make the name of their moderately rated school seem more important. Like insisting your friends call you "Mister.")
Like insisting your friends call you "Mister."
Except for Tibbs. You'd better call him "Mister."
Case Western Reserve, Kenyon College and Oberlin College are all more selective than OSU. It's embarrassing that they are so proud of being the 4th best school in their state.

And don't forget Miami (Ntm) and Ohio University, both academically superior to OSU.
March 26th, 2021 at 10:36 AM ^
How so? USNWR data has:
tOSU 53
Miami (ntm) 103
Ohio 176
For the record, I don't really care... but the constant citing of tOSU's academics, presumably because it's a moral victory for the toxic parts of this fanbase, is ridiculous.

-1 for "tOSU"...
I downvote everyone that gives them that credit. I don't care how good, or cool, your post is. Give OSU that unearned credit, get a downvote.
Who says I'm giving them credit? Could it be that I'm mocking them?
Regardless, neg away.

I agree to a good extent. Academically a good school, but filled with such assholes. Or at least the majority of them are...
March 26th, 2021 at 11:57 AM ^
oh, so it's "toxic" to have attended UM because of academics. got it. /s
Miami-OH is at 103? They used to be considered one of the "public ivies," along with Michigan, Cal Berkeley, UVA, UT-Austin, UNC, etc.
I think he prefers “Maestro”...

It’s like having a PhD and insisting everyone call you “doctor.” Even family and your spouse :-)

It’s like having a PhD and insisting everyone call you “doctor.” Even family and your spouse :-)
Or NOT having a doctrate and insisting on being called doctor anyway
March 26th, 2021 at 10:36 AM ^
Seriously. I've carefully researched records from medical schools in the 60s and 70s, and there's NO record of a Johnny Fever receiving a doctorate in medicine from any of them.
March 26th, 2021 at 10:53 AM ^
My wife has a PhD and works at a local university. She says "Doctor" titles are used in meetings and introductions, but not generally used outside of the university setting.
Someone who was given an honorary doctorate and then insists on having Dr. in their title is the worse case of this kind of arrogance.

Of course, some people should be called The Doctor.
March 26th, 2021 at 11:39 AM ^
Who?
He's been a doctor for thousands of years.
Very nice! That's tempting to get to wear when I visit my family in Columbus.
I'm in Washington and somehow one of my closest friends here is from Columbus. Very tempting to get this shirt. And maybe one for him.

I'd give you a fist bump and say, "haha, that 's funny". You're going to be hard pressed trying to find an OSU fan that would actually care enough to be mad... OSU is a football school, not a basketball school. I think most UM fans know that, right?
