Submitted by crg on January 13th, 2024 at 5:55 PM

Free to watch on BTN at 7pm.

For those going, will you bring any signs or organize any cheers?

Hoping to see the crowd in unison shout:

"One!  More!  Year!"

for all the guys & staff to hear.

Who's got it better than us right now?

In the arena.  Parade was great. Some of the regents were in a truck in the parade.  I yelled to them “Pay Harbaugh!”   One of them yelled back “We’re trying!”

Just picturing the fans in Ohio casually flipping through channels and checking BTN between 7-8 or the MSU and PSU hockey fans absentmindedly leaving the TV on after their hockey game.

The "one more year" chants are great for the players who have not made their decisions yet, and even the ones that have made it butncould change their minds, but when Harbaugh is up there the chant should be "We love Harbaugh...".  The NCAA, B1G and even the University have put him through a lot the past couple of years, and he deserves all the love possible from the people who want him here.

I semi-expect JJ to announce he is staying.

I do not expect JMFH to announce either way.

I should add, I am at home, made a couple drinks for myself already. The championship is just now really starting to hit me emotionally. Could be the drinks tho. But… does anyone agree, it wasnt like the culmination of a great season? It was the culmination of 3 years, of 9 years, of 20 years. This is not like 1997 or other UM sports titles. Between the coach, and the players who returned, and the cycle this program has been thru this year and prior years… this is a really unique and special completion of business.

Another footnote  I work at a GLOBAL law firm wirh >1000 lawyers   We have dozens of UM alums (and ZERO OSU alums… let the implicit significance of that sink in)  We have an internal distribution list for emails for the games The co-chair of one of our global practice groups goes to most games   You think Harvard, Yale or Stanford do the same? NFW. (And since I went to law school at one of those three, I would know for that one.)

Go blue.

I remember watching this event in 97 when I was 10. I believe it may have been on UPN 50. They did a video tribute to the defense with Matchbox 20’s Push playing.

Now here we are again 26 years later doing it again!
