Ok I'm done

Time to give up this junior college s#!t and get back to Michigan football, dammit.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:21 PM ^
Hey dumbass, we get it, you keep reposting this in every thread. Both of you can go away, Michigan football will be better without you.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:59 PM ^
While I may not agree with his nor the OP's opinion, both are well within their rights to have and share that opinion just as we are within our rights to disagree with them.
But this response was unnecessary.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
I agree that you can share your opinion, but this guy posted the EXACT same thing in this thread: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/rr-lost-me-supporter. I'm fine with someone sharing their opinions as long as they pose them in a way where a logical discussion can be had.

I have been reading this blog forever, since the beginning, and rarely ever post. However, I have reached my boiling point with Rich Rod as well. The team is so undisciplined and makes so many mistakes that it's nauseating. I have watched as all my friends have become MSU fans (ugh) and have tried to convince them all that RR is a good coach and just needs time. I honestly believe that is wrong now. The guy can only coach offense and it's pitiful to watch Michigan's defense AND special teams. They can't kick a damn KO let alone a FG. You cannot win giving up the amount points we do. In regards to the amount of talent on ST and Def., quit telling me he didn't inherit any. Even if RR inherited the talent level of Brandon High School he has had 2.5 years to rectify that. I will continue to support the team and I won't bash any players or boo ( shame on you guys) but I now serisouly doubt the direction of the program. I hope I'm wrong.
October 16th, 2010 at 11:14 PM ^
were Michigan fans but are Michigan State fans now? Your friends are garbage. You should find new friends. They were never Michigan fans to begin with. They are fans of winning.
October 16th, 2010 at 11:25 PM ^
Go easy on them, think how much money the Big Ten schools make as they shift allegiances and have to buy new gear every few months. And in this Michigan economy? Forget the Big Ten options; I hope they become Western Michigan fans next week.
Here's to mercurial, erratic fans!
October 17th, 2010 at 2:26 PM ^
Tell your friends to go jump on some other team's band wagon. Like USC or Miami (Hurricanes or Heat, doesn't matter). You know, the kind of teams that bandwagon fans go all crazy about.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:13 PM ^
GEAUX_BLUE might have an inferiority break down and ban you to the depths hell.
HE IS MOD AND IN CONTROL OF WHAT NEEDS TO BE HERE!
October 16th, 2010 at 7:18 PM ^
I get. You're pissed. You think, even with our roster, we should win every game we play. I get it. I'm sure you picked us going 10-2 before the season (why else would you be so pissed at this loss?). That doesn't mean RR SUXORS at coaching, it means you're unrealistic.
I also know that if you don't cool off someone not called mgoblog.com, you're going to get banned, or negged like mad.
We just played probably the second best team we'll play this year. We lost by 10 after beating them in most statistical categories. Be upset, but don't be like this.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:40 PM ^
No not at all...I thought we should be 8-4 but after the last 2 weeks I really question RR. I thought the defense was the problem but its more than that and yes I'm pissed about the game but damn! This offense is as bad as the defense.
as far as what I said about Geaux_Blue...he is Napoleon .
October 17th, 2010 at 1:38 PM ^
who i have banned or done anything to bc of what they said?
October 16th, 2010 at 10:29 PM ^
I guess it was the Napoleon remark... sorry shorty (sad face).

October 17th, 2010 at 5:41 PM ^
Support our team and coaches. MSU and Nardawg may be getting it done this year, but our coaches will get their players in place soon! Stay positive.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:14 PM ^
no one cares go away please!
October 16th, 2010 at 6:16 PM ^
It happens. Michigan will lose to good, ranked teams.
Michigan might not even beat another good team, but I think they might take care of business against the cellar dwellers to barely get into a bowl.
When they lose to Illinois 3 years in a row, get the pitchforks out.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:00 PM ^
So you're telling me to prep the pitch fork? B/c that Illinois team isn't a pushover (which is what it takes for us to win a game).
October 16th, 2010 at 7:02 PM ^
After today's Illinois performance against MSU, ILL is not a team to take lightly. They have the best RB in the Big10 and their D-Line performs very well.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:16 PM ^
that's a spread dominated coach that has a proven winning record with second full year recruits that are sophomores and the rest are predominantly freshman. Let me know a couple names and I will let you know my choice, thanks.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:26 PM ^
Pat Fitzgerald. Not that he would come.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:28 PM ^
So a team that cant beat halfway decent teams is that really an upgrade?
October 16th, 2010 at 7:01 PM ^
I'd say a team that can't beat halfway decent teams is a parallel move.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:09 PM ^
John L Smith.....no wait, I take that back
October 17th, 2010 at 5:43 PM ^
Look, when RR gets his players in, the system will bring us a National Championship!
October 16th, 2010 at 9:57 PM ^
Its year 3. Why the fuck are will still playing all these freshman and sophomores? Because Rich Rod can't keep anyone in the program! Believe what your eyes are telling you!
October 16th, 2010 at 6:17 PM ^
We lose to a pretty damn good MSU team and a really good Iowa team so now you are shutting it down. Alright.......fine, but when RichRod does succeed please don't be in support.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:19 PM ^
Wish I could +1 more than just once.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:20 PM ^
but your missing the squeakers against powerhouse teams such as UMASS and Indiana. But your right, we played 2 good teams horribly, but bc there good, lets not count it
October 16th, 2010 at 6:34 PM ^
Yeah, man, I yearn for the days when we blew out the 1-AA/FCS teams we played! Amirite? WHO'S WITH ME?
October 16th, 2010 at 6:55 PM ^
your/your/there for the victory.
Pardon my ad hominem, but I'd find coaching critiques much more pursuasive if they'd come from people with high school diplomas.
October 17th, 2010 at 11:15 PM ^
If you don't own season tickets and are all upset -- go find another team to call your own.
If you do own season tickets and are fed up -- I double dog dare you to let them go and not renew them next season.
Do it.
I dare you.
Triple Dip, Double Dog Dare you now. You're pissed, but too skeered to let go of your tickets -- because you know that Michigan will be back on top in short order, and once you get out, you can kiss your seats goodbye.
There ought to be a denotation in the ticket database that anyone who drops their tickets now, never has another opportunity to get on board again. That won't happen, but .....
I support this team and our Michigan coaches. I wear the colors - win or lose - because there will never be another team in my heart to root for and cheer on.
Go friggin Blue!

You're an idiot.
Don't repost.
Move on to elevenwarriors.
October 16th, 2010 at 6:49 PM ^
Wait, am I in someone's emo livejournal? You're feeling crappy because of the game, as are many--but it's not the time to make sweeping proclamations about your support or fandom, IMO.
Let's talk about this tomorrow when we're sober.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:01 PM ^
Please leave.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:02 PM ^
Like I always say, we have the worst fans in the country and it's not close.
We won't miss you at all.
October 16th, 2010 at 9:27 PM ^
How, exactly, has he had time to create better? Dude's had exactly 2 full recruiting classes. You say he can't do better, then how the hell do you explain the West Virginia years?
October 16th, 2010 at 7:04 PM ^
Thanks for sharing. I'm sure there are other message boards for other teams that you could post your new allegiance to. Save me this "I used to believe in RR, but now..." crap - you hate losing. Everyone does. But every good team goes through stretches like this, and I really do feel like this team is growing. Despite being down 21 entering the 4th quarter, the team responded by really putting a scare into a top-15 team and, with some maturity on the defensive side and a bit of luck, maybe pulls out a win. Yeah, if this team loses the next 3 games it will definitely be time to look for a new coach, but UM has lost to two teams with a combined 1 loss between them, and that one loss was on the road against a top-10 team. It happens.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:05 PM ^
to chill out bro! Michigan is a good offensive football team. The defense is absolutely awful. It happens we are flat out not as good as iowa! We need to stay the course and have faith. When the defense gets better we will see results. If you seriously down with michigan then fine, we dont need you!
October 16th, 2010 at 7:13 PM ^
Is our defense terrible? We held a very good Iowa team to 383 yards of total offense, even though our offense kept giving them the ball with room to work with. We held them to 3.8 yards per rush, even though they have a very good rushing offense. We gave up 248 yards through the air. Pretty average.
They had a lot of points because we kept turning the ball over, or letting them return our FG's. Our defense did not play a bad game today.
Kenny Demens! Better than Ezeh!
October 16th, 2010 at 8:53 PM ^
And they aren't a good rushing team. They were in the 50's nationally. They weren't even the best in their state. But no, it wasn't our worst defensive performance.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:02 PM ^
I don't know how you can say Michigan's defense did not play poorly. They allowed Iowa to score TDs on 3 of their 5 (meaningful) first half possessions. In the second half, Iowa scored 2 TDs and 1 FG on their six possessions. Allowing scoring drives over 50% of the time is not a sign of a good defense.
While 3.8 yards/rush is good enough for slightly above average, the 10.3 yards/passing attempt is off the charts bad.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:07 PM ^
but I seriously can't stand most of the people I have to cheer with. When the goings get tough, jump off the wagon. Freaking babies. 1969-2007 spoiled people into irrational hopes.
October 16th, 2010 at 7:21 PM ^
'69 through 2007. Yes, we had good regular seasons. Yes, in the early part of the Bo era we were helped by the scholarship rules. On the negative side, during those years we won only one NC, and lost more bowl games than we won. Ok, our goal was the Big 10 Championship, and we did a fine job of that.
We are entering a new era. It is not pain-free. Get over it folks. I am so tired of hearing these so-called fans I just don't have words.
October 16th, 2010 at 8:48 PM ^
Well it will be a lot easier to win bowl games now that we go for 1-2 wins in the b10 every season. Its a lot harder when the bowl game is the rosebowl. The lengths people go to downgrade the former coaching staff and give excuses to this one amazes me
October 16th, 2010 at 9:34 PM ^
You won't find a single negative comment that I have made toward the program, a player, or a coach. What passed for success 40 years ago has changed. Get over it.
