Oh dear what have I done ... ok, here is the deal for UConn tickets ... (update: tickets given away)
Ok, tickets are gone! I replied to person via email.
===================
Sorry for starting a new post, but I wanted to carve this single topic out for simplicity. I have received a bunch of emails that I am not sure I can manage responding to them all.
I want to give (yes for free) 2 tickets away for the UCONN game to UofM fans that really would not otherwise get to go, first timers, or other special situation ... and have them enjoy a great experience in the indoor stadium club. I really want to continue to do this type of thing so I don't want to get burned on my first try. Then I can handle other games as time goes on if I have tickets available.
I don't want anything in return, you don't have to get to know me or any other weird stuff. But I do want people to act accordingly as these are seats in my name and I do not want them to be sold for a profit or even for face value .. so I will probably pass the tickets in person at the club entrance.
If you want to compensate me for the gesture, you can make a donation to the stadium project. (I'll get you the contact info to do that if you like) .. or not.
So if a party of two would really appreciate these tickets please email me with UConn tickets in header. [email protected]
Sorry ... I don't want to embarrass people by having them post their reason for wanting tickets on this public board ... just email me ... sorry about that.

Donation to the blog in your name?

I would say give them to who predicts the game befores results, but since it is game 1...
Give them to someone who has a kid or who hasn't been to a game before.

bcuz i have only been able to go to one UM in my life (Houston 03, if that counts). But i think they should go to someone who is consistantly doing positive things for the blog and bringing new information. Someone like TomVH or mangus. (I dont know if they have tickets or not.)

I don't have a sob story or any kind of special circumstance. Im just a die hard Michigan fan who has never been to the big house, and I suppose there would be no better way to experience a game.
P.S. Are you Santa Claus?

He is a newly wed and is going to University of Michigan - Flint on his own dime. He is a huge fan that lives and dies Michigan football.
This would be a once in a lifetime experience for him and his bride.
No matter what you decide, your generosity is duly noted. Thanks and Go Blue!

Thats a heart breaking story Braylon1. We are joining the Air Force in early October hopefully and thats one thing we would like to do before we leave. We went to the spring game but havent been able to get to a real game yet. We got to go to the Rush concert last Sunday for my birthday and have been making kinda of a list of things to do before we go and this is our biggest one. We already went to Cedar Point for his birthday but money is tight for us and anyone willing to donate tickets for us would be greatly appreciated. Either email me at [email protected] or him at [email protected] and thanks in advance.

My first priority is to Braylon! for his sister. I have not yet heard from him. Please let me know if 2 for Bowling Green would work.
Always an honor to pay forward our armed services.
Thank you for what you do. It's a debt I can never repay - but will always try to.

how do you beat the very first response? I say give them to the girl with cancer, no contest. I hope they get the club seats filled somehow to make the attendance as big as possible. Only three days 'till this whole thing gets started. I can't wait....Go Blue!!

These are the types of things that define a true "Michigan Man". +1 to you sir. And if you are looking for others for future games, I might recommend the Mott children's hospital to find families and kids who might make it out in time for a game. I feel very fortunate to make the few games I go to every year, and would love to be able to do what you are doing sometime in the future.
