A&M came from the Big 12. Did you expect anything different?
October 20th, 2012 at 2:02 PM ^
But if they called illegal touching on Ohio, then how is that reviewable then?
October 20th, 2012 at 2:02 PM ^
i hate that instead of showing the replay of the punt we get commercials. Also Beth Mowins is super annoying.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:06 PM ^
Why even try and run a read option with Terbush?
October 20th, 2012 at 2:07 PM ^
They've done it multiple times today. It's like having Navarre run a read option. I don't understand it at all.

Well, Purdue just unfortunately Purdued that pass coverage. 1st down again for Miller & Company here.....and after more Purduing, 1st and goal.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:14 PM ^
Purdue just plain Purwon't.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:15 PM ^
Well Purdue had their chances, but they just pissed those away. Does Purdue try Marve? The weakness (well the biggest) is the pass D of Ohio, and Marve may be able to more effectively stretch the field.

EMU hitting with slightly firmer pillows at the moment
October 20th, 2012 at 2:21 PM ^
Confirmed by MVictors, MSU in shiny chrome helmets.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:23 PM ^
Well we're pretty much fucked. They're practically Oregon with those helmets now.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:31 PM ^
Looks like EMU
October 20th, 2012 at 2:23 PM ^
Finally Purdue goes to what works...
October 20th, 2012 at 2:23 PM ^
You would think Army could find tougher pillows. 0-6 Eastern still up on 1-5 Army, though. Why isn't this on TV?
October 20th, 2012 at 2:23 PM ^
to last week's barely-win, if osu loses this week with yet another turrible defensive performance, added to a mediocre offensive performance, there should be some good TWIS fodder.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:25 PM ^
Why wasn't Purdue doing this all freaking game? It's exactly what IU did, but Purdue actually has some semblance of a defense.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:25 PM ^
Eastern Michigan is leading 28-17 over Army at halftime. It is more bad defense than good offense. EMU QB Tyler Benz has thrown 4 TD's.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:26 PM ^
Sweeeeet drive by Purdue. Had OSU chasing their tails.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:26 PM ^
And now Ohio has given up more yards to Purdue than either UM or Wisc in the whole game. While at home.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:26 PM ^
You watch; Wisconsin will lose two more games and Purdue will end up winning the le-something division after all.
Also, is it time to start acknowledging the existence of the Angry Ohio Linebacker Hating God yet? AOLBHG has a nice ring to it...
October 20th, 2012 at 2:28 PM ^
Purdue is probably the most frustrating team in the nation at going away frim their offense against good teams. They do it against ND every year. My mom has been complaining about it for years. "Why did they stop all of the short passes? It looks like they aren't even trying to win anymore." It must be a mustache thing.

October 20th, 2012 at 2:30 PM ^
Fumble! Purdue recovers.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:31 PM ^
Danny Hope looked like a 3 yr old kid on christmas with that smile and how he was clapping. That needs to be a gif
October 20th, 2012 at 2:31 PM ^
Well that was pretty clearly a fumble...so don't fuck it up refs.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:33 PM ^
This bugs the crap out of me. Why do they review plays that were obviously called correctly on the field (like this one), but don't review a call that was obviously wrong on the field (like the Illinois fumble two yards before the end zone against Ohio a few years back)? This stuff isn't rocket science.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:34 PM ^
This makes me a lot more comfortable about next week's game against Nebraska.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:36 PM ^
Aaaaannnddd Purdue blows another opportunity...
October 20th, 2012 at 2:36 PM ^
Holy hell, Purdue. You're doing everything you can to not win this game.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:36 PM ^
Classic Purdont
October 20th, 2012 at 2:36 PM ^
That kick was 4 feet in the air.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:37 PM ^
Purdue is trying REALLY hard to give this game away.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:37 PM ^
Wind knocked out of him
October 20th, 2012 at 2:38 PM ^
You sure Mark?
October 20th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
Sure. He's already passed the test. The trainer kneeling down next to him asked him "do you have a concussion?" He answered "no". Test passed. At least the MSU version.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
Nah. He wasn't even laying motionless and unresponsive, that I could tell. That's the true sign that he got his wind knocked out.
In all seriousness, hope he's ok. Looks like maybe a rib...
October 20th, 2012 at 2:38 PM ^
Can't say I didn't see this one coming. Purdue has had plenty of chances to put this game further out of reach but just can't seem to ever capitalize.
Even if Purdue loses today, though, Ohio State has further shown that they are very, very beatable.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:39 PM ^
If Purdue doesn't win this game, all everyone will see is 8-0. Not the fact that Ohio is significantly struggling against two of the worst teams in the B1G. God, just hold on Purdue.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:40 PM ^
Did the ESPN BottomLine just say that Everett Golson won't start, but he will play? If so, WTF is Brian Kelly doing? If he is playing, then you can't say you aren't starting him because of the concussion.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:42 PM ^
I can't figure out why they don't just start Tommy Rees. They let Golson derp around all game and after they put themselves into a jam, Rees just comes in and saves them
October 20th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
Wow, he looks in rough shape.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:42 PM ^
Shoulder or concussion for Braxton?? Sounds like head as I'm typing this. Definitely a hard tackle to the ground and the impact may have been enough for head injury. That sucks for Braxton and Ohio; hopefully things turn out well, I'm sure we'll have updates on the matter soon.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
Hope Miller's okay. I want him full strength when we put an end to their perfect season, so there's no excuses.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:45 PM ^
Damn. Miller doesn't look good at all. Hope he's okay.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
Ok, jokes aside...what kind of injury is that? That does not look good. Hope it's nothing serious.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
Collar bone? Looks much worse than just a concussion. He looked like he was in a ton of pain.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
He's doubled over, so that's probably not a concussion. More likely a rib or shoulder injury.
October 20th, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
Yeah, but he was not moving at all when he went down
October 20th, 2012 at 2:46 PM ^
Braxton didn't look too good getting to that cart. Hope the kid is alright. I want to see him go up against Jake Ryan this year at full health.
