Maxwell lucky he didn't throw a pick on 3rd and short. I thought MSU got away with a blatant hold on 2nd down.

Aaaand Sparty gonna Spart. 15 yard penalty after the whistle. Good punt though.

For a bigger RB, Bell sure does love to bounce it outside and get one on one with a DB.  Michigan's corners and safeties are going to need to clean up on this guy outside cause he is their biggest weapon there.

Another sparty punt and personal foul...it is fun to see sparty get fisted by one of my fav. BT teams...go Hoosiers!

I'm not getting my hopes up until IU has a 10 point lead late in the 4th, but all these MSU guys dropping like flies does no bode well for Staee down the road.

MSU's D can be abused my swing passes and the screen game as usual. I hope that is a heavy part of our gameplan this year. I know it goes against what the coaches like to do and all, but we need to win that damn game.

Colter nearly threw an interception on 2nd down, but thankfully  for him Penn State shows everyone why  DTs don't often handle the ball (unless you've used them as FBs, like a William Carr type - DaQuan Jones is not that, of course). On the next play, he throws a ball which, if it had been an INT, would have also been a fumble that changed possession probably twice. If you wanted your most  cohesive drive in the game to date to go down in flames, that was the way.

This is a very MSU performance.

I have always thought that MSU was misnamed. The ancient Spartans were extraordinarily disciplined. These Spartans are extraordinarily ill-disciplined.

State hits the IU punter,  IU follows by 2 deep passes. 60 yards in penalties in the first quarter.

MSU -  looks like they didn't come to play.  Mistakes, lack of emotion.  MSU will lose if Dantonio doesn't light a fire under their behinds at the half!

[ EDIT if Dantonio doesn't light a fire NOW ]
