Are there really people out there who won't buy Michigan apparel unless it's made by a certain manufacturer? I mean really...

I prefer the jerseys made by one faceless corporate superbeing over another.

Dave Brandon needs to stop having a fashion freakout like a 14 year old girl and go back to Michigan swag.

I've had it ever since I went to PSU and lived next to the football team. I wore it as a giant F-U since pre-RR they couldn't say shit. I wore it to celebrate the greatest college player ever winning a Heisman, winning a Rose Bowl, and through 3 years of purgatory.
I still wear it almost every Saturday in the fall, unless it's a bye week. Adidas stuff just doesn't fit the same and honestly feels cheap by comparison.

Ditch both of the companies and go with Under Armour. I like some of their high school uniforms that they have made.

to the story I heard that the football players actually started chanting Nike in one of their first meetings with Hoke, as if to say change our apparel provider now that we have a new coach?

This is slightly off topic, but as I don't have thread starting privileges this thread is most relevant.
Northwestner signed with Under Armour, so look forward to awful jerseys for years to come. What struck me most was the quote from NW's AD:
"It will enhance our recruiting in all 19 of our sports."
Is this based on fact at all? I'd be curious to see before & after results with recruiting based on uniforms. In my mind, you may get a quick mention extra mention in the media the first time you have some crazy jerseys, but does that really translate to anything other than everyone thinking you have ridiculous looking jerseys? I doubt it, but then again I haven't analyzed it statistically at all.
