Harbaugh said Speight had a 'soft tissue' injury. Not sure how long he'll be out.

There are two officials in the backfield including the white hat running the show. And neither made a call. That is just unacceptable. Purdue was head-hunting all afternoon.

The fact that two guys got tossed and Isaac got hit well out of bounds late in the game tells me that there was little discipline on the other side of the field.

So, because of that, watching their qbs get punished after ole line blocks, while it offered little solace for Speight's injury, offered some vindication. But only little.

Not surprising looking at their DC on the sidelines. Dude looks like he might have rabies, at the very least distemper..And the head coach put on this crazy man speech to his team before the game while flinging a chair to the ground. It was a big game for them and the coaches were doing whatever it took to give them a chance to win - unfortunately for Wilton.

Seriously? Sounds like you have personal animus against kap. He was one of the best QBs in the NFL for a couple of seasons. Your argument is almost as silly as Trump's quip about liking war hero's that weren't held as POWs. Makes no sense. Seriously, Brady didn't win the super bowl that season. So it's not as if you're comparison even makes sense.

The point is, the option during the harbaugh super bowl season was not Brady vs kap. Kap was the better option given the choices that were available to the forty niners. The OP said that this was like an Alex Smith/Kaepernick situation. The person to whom I responded repeatedly dismissed kap, and he offered no good argument to back up his assertion, other than Brady, which was a complete non sequitur. Now if you want to debate who is a better quarterback, kap or first ballot hall of famer, Brady? then Brady is the obvious choice. But to argue that kap was not a good option at qb for the niners that season, which is essentially the argument I was responding to... That's a silly argument.

Brady most certainly DID win the Super Bowl the year (2001 season) he replaced Bledsoe. It's a fact. And that's the point he was making. Didn't see him dogging CK. He was just saying WINNING the SB was beter than REACHING the SB. And his example was a UM grad.

Sorry you are so bitter abut CK not having a job that you feel the need to rewrite histry.

That might be a little premature.  It's was just one half of football for O'Korn and it's not like we haven't seen what he has to offer before.  Super happy he was able to put together a strong half, and help the team.  But, I'm not holding my breath that he suddenly has more to offer than what we've seen in his previous games.
