CJ Gardner-Johnson committed a bonehead personal foul by pushing down the ball carrier after the whistle on Seattle's first drive in the red zone.  They were backed up with a huge loss on the play (I don't recall the down and distance but it would've been 2nd or 3rd and like 20) but he over celebrated and the result was first and goal after the penalty.  Of course the Seahawks soon scored a TD.

It was a typical Lions thing.

No?  It sure seemed like it to me when they likely had them stopped for a FG attempt, yet gave the ball to them with a 1st down and goal as a result of the penalty.  That's the kind of stupid stuff that loses you games that you should win, which is something they are famous for.

If they keep that up they will underachieve and the SOL label will come back.  The only thing more Lions-like would be poor officiating calling a penalty which they didn't deserve, or not calling one the other team deserved.

Nico must be ecstatic to be catching passes from an accurate QB.

I’m not going to be angry if Stroud turns into a legit pro QB. The fact that his OSU teams lost to us two years in a row are a testament to the quality of our teams those years.

What has been fucking infuriating is all those losses where we make OSU QBs look like minor deities, and then those deities crash and burn in the NFL.

I can deal with an NFL-ready QB dropping bombs on us. It’s much harder to stomach watching a guy frolicking gaily through the field because our coaches forgot to cover the A gaps every play.

I mean I'm not gonna complain about him overall since the results have been good so far, but I think he needs to dial this down a bit.

Fake punt last week worked out great, but it's the wrong play.

4th and 4 I can live with going for it, that's a judgement call given the location on the field. But had we been at our own 30 I could see him going for it and that would be a terrible call regardless of whether it works.

Lions take over at the 4. Curious what they do here.

Also forgot how much I hate commercials. Been in Europe most of the last 2 months going to rugby and soccer games.....no commercials is quite nice.

Good, tough, physical football game.

Hopefully Metcalf at 50% can't hurt us anymore, but we're not getting any pressure on Geno.

Feels like this one will hinge on a late turnover.

I panic traded for Dak after week 1. Had Goff and Daniel Jones at QB. Traded David Montgomery for Dak straight up. Had Ekeler, Mattison, Mixon, and Jonathan Taylor(drafted  before the drama/being out for 4 weeks.) Started Goff over Prescott after dropping Jones. I think Gibbs will be more productive, but am worried that Montgomery will be Jamaal Williams2.0 and screw me.
