ugh...cam newton just looks sleazy
Carolina done f*&@ed up
If there is no rookie salary cap, the Panthers just wasted $50 Million on Cam Newton. If they wanted a QB, should have chosen Gabbert.
I almost wish the Lions didn't win a few of those games at the end of the season so they could draft Patrick Peterson. That kid is the real deal.

Newton is going to get crushed at Carolina. He has no receivers, the defense isn't good, the O line isn't great despite what the NFL Network guys are saying. He's going to play 3 high quality teams in-division twice each year, two of which are elite-level teams with elite QB's. If you aren't a Panthers fan, it's going to be fun to watch.

I will thoroughly enjoy watching that. I detest Cam Newton and I really really hate it when sports announcers are like "oh, he made a mistake when he stole that laptop". Okay, I make mistakes but they don't involve theft. It may have been a "mistake", but that doesn't make it inexcusable. Not to mention the whole pay-for-play thing, which I totally think he was complicit in.
Any one know where I can stream this online for free other then espnnetworks.com?
NFL.com? If the Network is carrying it, maybe the website too?
My buddy just told me there is no trading in the draft. Is that true? Thanks in advance
You can trade picks, but you can't trade players I believe.
Trading draft picks is allowed, but they mentioned that players couldn't be traded.
awesome glasses
Steve Urkle if he was a Linebacker and ate small children and QBs for meals. Broncos just got a machine as a LB.
really good next year they get their top LB back and add a sack machine, QB eating, monster LB
I wish the Lions could have had a shot at Von Miller. I think he is a beast.
I love to see Von Miller going here. He made a tough decision to come back to school last year, and it paid off big time for him. The opinion of Miller down here rivals the opinion of Denard in Ann Arbor. (And a similar guy in that he frequently used his high profile to draw attention to the other athletic teams on campus.) Great day for a great guy.

Von is a helluva' athelete. Watching players develope like him is just fun to watch. To go from talented, but kind of lost, sophmore to a dominant senior is remarkable. It was like watching Brandom Graham again.
Roger Goodell has got to have one of the most awkward jobs in the world. Von Miller was crying on his shoulder in mid-man hug for a solid minute.
Haha I loved watching the highlight of Marcell Dareus breaking through Sparty's Oline and throwing down Cousins.
I think that was the backup QB. Cousins was knocked out of that game early.
I don't think they Bengals messed up their 1st round pick...quite an accomplisment
rumors(and tweets) about Chad Johnson to Detroit. After this pick it seems more likely that Cincinnati keeps TO and sends #85 packing. I'd like to have him as a Lion, as it'd be a big improvement over Bryant Johnson. The two CJ's and Burleson would be a nice receiving corp
I am really liking the pace of the draft so far. Seems like the average pick is taking about 6 minutes so far.
And the Cardinals get the best player in the draft.
Agreed
With all the talks about trading down and such, Patrick Petersen shouldn't have gone to the Cardinals. There must be something changed about pick trading because all day today and yesterday I heard the Cardinals are all but guarenteed to trade out of the #5 slot. Petersen is a beast but I would take Chuck Woodson any day anywhere!
i hate how they keep showing the players on the phone before the announcement!!
how ESPN announces who the pick is before the commish actually announces it. It really takes away from the intrigue of the draft.
Agh. Beaten to it. Also, the trade hasn't even been announced yet...
Wow, Atlanta gave up a lot of that pick. This years 27th pick, their 2nd and 4th round pick, and next years 1st and 4th round pick. I think that was too much.
Yeah, I kind of liked that one. Hopefully there will be a good DE or pash rushing OLB available at 27.
did you see Julio Jones's dad? Pimpin' aint easy...
And a BIG jump up.

Whoa...gave up too much. Good move by Browns. Sounds weird saying that.
That was a steal by the Browns, swap firsts and they also recieve four addtional picks.
The 2 ND might be understandable. But 2 4's 2, uh, too? For a RECEIVER? Dude better be Jerry Rice.
Swapping picks and a future first round pick for a guy who hasn't played a down? Atlanta just made a mistake IMO.
The Browns just robbed Atlanta in that trade.
What an awful trade by Atlanta.
Browns stole the show right there.
apparently they are going for the win now model of running a franchise.
I love it! Go Brownies!!!!!
Well played...Tom Heckert, FTW.
Double post.
Were the Falcons a WR away from the Super Bowl? I don't think so...
Locker ahead of Gabbert
Jake Locker congrats to him and i hope he has a hall of fame career
Tenn. picks Jake Locker, wow! I guess we'll see how this one works out.
Speechless. Really? This is just getting good!
Do NFL scouts watch college football?
Locker didn't have much of a supporting cast around him at Washington.
