Wolverines still looking to be picked (or sign as UDFA):

- Vincent Gray
- Daylen Baldwin

Where do they land? What does your team need? How is your team drafting so far?

I forgot to add Josh Ross! Apologies and may he be drafted!
I forgot Brad Hawkins too! I think he’s actually higher on draft boards than Gray and Ross.

I feel Haskins, Steuber, and Hinton all get drafted. The others, probably not. Hopefully they all land somewhere and can have a go at it. Childhood dreams and all. Good luck to all and as always,
Go Blue 🏈🏈🏈

Slightly OT maybe but there is a bit of footage on the guys mentioned above throughout this weeks Inside The Den. Which is also an outstanding production if you haven't watched past episodes.

The Ravens have 6 picks in the fourth round!
Over/Under on the number of Wolverines selected today is 2

Giant man mountain (and former Michigan recruit) Daniel Faalale goes 110th overall to the Ravens. Nothing says power run smash like a 6’9”, 380lb right tackle.
the biggest guy i ever played with was almost that exact size, but weighed 385. he wasn't fat, was pretty mobile, but had come to the game late since he had always been a basketball player. funny how guys like that made our regular O-line, 6' 5", 300+ lb guys look small.

I think Haskins will be a steal for whatever team picks him. It’s too bad the NFL doesn’t really value running backs anymore.

I was listening to the analysis of the RBs taken in the 3rd round yesterday. All I could think was, sounds like Haskins….you picked the wrong guy. RBs in the NFL are such a crap shoot, but I like his chances.

Good luck to all.
Still wish Hinton had stayed 1 more year. Showed flashes and think he could have been a late 1st to 2nd round pick with a great year.
Am I seeing this right? Miami has 4 picks in this entire draft? 102, 125, and two 7th round picks.
Gave away most of there picks to KC
Only noticed 4 late picks left for our Loins, end of 5th round, 2 in the 6th, and late 7th. It'll be interesting to see what the new staff does with them.
HH to the Ravens is my guess. I'm kind of surprised Steuber hasn't gone yet
Haskins going to the Titans feels like a great match.
The Titans are my 2nd team behind Detroit. I lived in Tennessee when they came to town. Very excited for this upcoming season
I unfortunately believe it but the Lions trading their hall of fame QB for a limp arm and still only have 7 picks in this draft. Wow.
it was an extreme act of mercy on behalf of the lions for stafford. also, goff is okay, not great, but we needed so many pieces and parts that it really did make some sense to trade stafford. the cap hit change will be a big deal going forward to give them a chance to field a reasonable team.
Hinton’s decision still doesn’t make any sense.
Staee gets back on the board in the 6th round with Jalen Nailor going to the Vikings at pick 191.
first, one CB got drafted out of Ouachita Baptist. never heard of that school, but hey, wish the kid well.
second, would be curious if there was some known percentage of NFL draftees that make the/a team, by round. in other words, would it be, say, 94% of 1st round draftees, 81% of 2nd rd draftees, etc.?
what i'm finding on line are things like, 'half of all draftees are out of the league after 3 years' and 2/3rds after 5 years. i also found this official sounding comment: 1st round picks have guaranteed contracts so it makes no sense to cut them, even if they bust the 1st year. 2nd round picks usually have their signing bonus & 1st year salary fully guaranteed so they will usually get at least 2 years to prove themselves. 3rd rounders get part of their 1st year & all of their signing bonus guaranteed so unless you are a total bust or cancer in the locker room you will get at least a year to prove yourself. I can only remember 1 3rd round pick that got cut before making a roster off the top of my head. From there they showed that about 60% of 6th & 50% of 7th rounders make an NFL roster, some of those cut get signed into the practice squad. About 22% to 24% of undrafted free agents make it into an NFL roster.
Any of those numbers need to be broken down by position and round selected. Have to imagine a P, TE or FB selected in the 6th round has a much better chance of making the team than a QB not named Tom Brady.
Hinton and Gray made huge mistakes
Agreed on Hinton. This might have been Gray’s best chance though. He had just played well against the OSU WR corps, and with Johnson and Turner at CB next year Gray was at risk of losing a lot of playing time.
Stueber is a steal for the Pats in round 7.
