Draft the flaggiest player available
Goodell needs to own the booing like Stern did for all those years in the NBA, to the point where he would come to the podium with that smirk that said, "Come on, you assholes, get it out there...."
There are moments where I swear Goodell genuinely wonders what he has done that people find so unpopular.
at the start of the draft
He did, last night, right at the start.
Make no mistake. He knows what he's doing on that stage.
Wormley, Lewis and Butt are all gonna be big steals at this point.
I'm done with my Bengals, by the way. Putting in my Browns' fan papers.
He just moved there recently, and has fully embraced Cleveland. So, I figure, what better time?
And if the Browns take Wormley, or Butt, or Lewis, well...that'll just ice the hell out of that. ;-)
i thought you would be on fire last night with the peppers pick up. congrats. curious how all your combo ohio state/browns fans are doing with that pick?
I'm sure GrowOld was, like any other sensible Browns fan, getting drunk and celebrating after the Peppers pick.
I know I was.
Same here!
Ain't that the sad truth.
No playoff wins since 1990 -- the longest drought in the NFL. Yes, longer than the Browns and Lions. And Lewis is the longest-tenured coach without a playoff win.
Why?
The Bengals need a fiery guy to come in there and clean house. Marvin is, well...have you ever seen a Marvin press conference, after a game? That kinda sums it up right there.
Those were just shit calls though.
Steelers are the favored son of the NFL.
Gonna be interesting how that goes since Rooney passed.
Marvin Lewis comes off as a nice guy,but the reality is he could give two shits that Joe Mixon blew some white girls mickey out, regardless of how bad he hurt her. Hoorah for him and the bengals front office.
Browns have to take Kizer...right?
I don't get the hype.

Honestly, he hasn't done that well in college, does he think he's going to magically improve in the NFL? He should have stayed in school.
The #1, a Point Guard, pick in the upcoming NBA draft will have won 9 games in college.
Team sports.
Answer: Yes.
Lions on the clock...
Lions take Tabor over Jourdan Lewis...LOL!!!!
we need to replace Lawson after this year more than likely
Of course he could be better when you're talking about two players who are closely ranked. He could, or Jourdan could.
I do love Tabor saying check the tape...I'll watch him and his boy Hargraves get torches by Jehu and Darboh all day. Then listen to him say they have 22 Jabrill Peppers.
HAHA.
Toast Tabor and his 4.7 40, best of luck.
I do agree with this. I was thinking about that and was actually hoping they went Wormley.
Would like to see JD go out west somewhere where he can play his man coverage/nickel coverage.
A slow 6 foot corner for the lions...awesome
HAHAHA he just shushed the whole Eagles fan base! Shhhhhhhh.
Lions draft Teez "didn't think Michigan was that good" Tabor. So they now have two players from a defense we torched 41 - 7

No point really. Obviously they're good players, it was a dumb comment by Tabor tho. And it would've been cool to see the Lions take Lewis.
Also Peppers didn't play against FSU...
...too soon?
Not to nit-pick too much, but Francois was a redshirt freshman. So he had a bit more seasoning that you're giving him credit for.
More draftees that MSU in the first two rounds!!! WOW!
