Goodell needs to own the booing like Stern did for all those years in the NBA, to the point where he would come to the podium with that smirk that said, "Come on, you assholes, get it out there...."

There are moments where I swear Goodell genuinely wonders what he has done that people find so unpopular.

There's only one pick I felt fairly certain about in the entire draft, and that's that Cincinnati would draft Mixon. Marvin Lewis is a defensive genius and thoroughly deserved his head coaching position, but he's also stubborn beyond all reason and will not stop trying to prove something about these red-flag players. And that's probably why Ickey Woods danced his way to the first touchdown in the Bengals' last playoff victory.

It's not the talent level. They have 72 wins in just the last eight seasons. Just the law of averages suggests they would have been in 1 or 2 conference championships. What happened against Pittsburgh in their last playoff loss? They had the game won and two different red-flag players lost their cool and drew 15-yarders. It can't get any more obvious than that example. To compete with the better teams in January, you have to keep your cool. The leaders on the top teams show, again and again, that winners respond to the inevitable frustrations within a very physical game by sticking to the game plan and pointing to the scoreboard afterward.

Of course he could be better when you're talking about two players who are closely ranked. He could, or Jourdan could.

I do love Tabor saying check the tape...I'll watch him and his boy Hargraves get torches by Jehu and Darboh all day. Then listen to him say they have 22 Jabrill Peppers.

HAHA.

Toast Tabor and his 4.7 40, best of luck.
