Maryland brought everything they had and coupled it with all of the off-field distraction the entire league ginned up to get us off track.  Now Cyan Day has to try his hand.  He needs to prep for the McCarthy centered offense we ran all year, and now also has to focus on the new-found running game.  Especially with Donovan getting MUCH better.

Survive and advance!!!

I choose to believe this is Michigan’s near annual “garbage game” prior to OSU. We had it in ‘16, ‘17, ‘18, and ‘22.

Next week is at home so that will help, and now this team can FINALLY give OSU its complete and undivided attention.

I don’t care what it looked like. They won. Get out of there and get onto next week. It wasn’t even as close as last year vs Illinois, and this was a road game to boot. Maryland showed up. Michigan had some attrition. JJ looked off. The whole offense was off.

Whatever, the defense and special teams stood up when they absolutely needed to. And while Maryland had the ball 2-3 times with a chance to take the lead or tie, they never left their end of the field.

No apologies needed. They got out of a trap game with a win. The next one is all that matters.

Which coach is coaching for his job? Despite your best efforts to destroy competitive fairness Cryan it's you. You have all your coaches and sign stealers. No integrity but that has never been an issue at your trailer park...I mean school. Have any of your 5 stars actually seen the campus?

Didn't think so.

Good job boys. Not real confident next week, our oline is not very good. We got pushed around by Maryland. I'm optimistic, but this is not a team that's as good as last year. I don't think Ohio is either though

First to 1,000 wins in football at any level.  Road conference wins are like gold.  Maryland played hard on their senior day, with a good senior qb who threw some dimes today. They also have a lot of talent in their secondary.  This was a trap game, second consecutive, tough road game.  Coming home will help as will being able to just focus on beating OSU next week and nothing much else.  11 & 0, 8 & 0 with good chemistry and poise.  Beat OSU and Go Blue !
