Well, OK, but announcing on The Ocho does tend to cut into the live coverage of the Greater Perth Amboy Snooker Tournament, so these announcements better be in favor of Michigan.

I am sure the board will let us know in its own fashion regardless. Perhaps we'll get something similar to the Michael Ferns "Hello Thread" fiasco a few years ago.

I actually remember it.  Under two minutes to go and the Joe Namath led Jets are up on the Daryl Lamonica led Raiders 32 to 29 and had the ball.  The game had a lot of passing and as such was running very late and NBC made the decision to cut away from the game and go to a special broadcast of Heidi.  It wasnt until that night (remember kids- no internet) that we found out the Raiders got the ball and then scored twice to win 43-32.

Here in Detroit we had more than 4 options. We had 2,4 and 7 of course. Also we had channel 50, 20, 62, 56 and 9. I used to love coming home from school and watching 'The Three Stooges" on channel 50 then Id switch over to channel 62 for some "Felix the Cat".Channel 62 was fuzzy though unless I had the aluminum foil on the bunny ears just right.
