Real fans dont "quit". Real fans survived the Rich Rod era rooting for their team every single week because its all about the team. Real fans cheered on the team just as much during the 11-2 season as they did during the 8-5 season. Real fans dont quit on their team, ever.

I haven't missed a home game in 10 years and I'm writing this as the band is playing Hawaiian War Chant, my absolute favorite. But damn, this team is not good. It's the first time I've wanted to leave a game early. Maybe I didn't drink enough, but this is hard to get through

wants to bleed the clock and prevent Michigan from possessing the ball for any length of time. Their hope is they keep the game close and they hang around to where something good might happen. So with teams like that, you want to score quickly and kill their will.

So, coming out for the second half, Michigan is a must-score situation to take control of this game. The problem with the defense is not making plays on the quarterback. They have converted every short yardage situation.

Here's what I don't get, MSU attacks the LOS all day long. If you beat them, you beat them. Minnesota can't pass. Why aren't we daring them to pass every play. I know they are having the safeties creeping up. But I watch MSU's defenders, and they attack the offense; they are totally agressive at the point of attack and every gap.Michigan not so much.

Putting the lack of tackling aside, one thing that annoys me is it's either an all running drive or an all passing driving. There isn't a good balance on the field. It May very well be due to the fact that we have been killed in the time of possession but damn man. .

Some of you are unbelievable. I can think of more descriptive words but id like to keep the curse count to a minimum since I know LSA is tracking that sorta thing these days

With all the negative talk about our performance, but I don't get the hate for this team. Have we horribly underachieved? Of course, but, like a certain bball team last spring, we are talented. Hopefully we keep reeking out wins and improve fast enough as the schedule gets tough fast in a few weeks.

Here's the thing: have we been Alabama? No. Are we 4-0 despite playing WELL below expectations? Yes. Sorry, but until we lose, I won't say we've underachieved. In fact, if winning ugly is underachieving, then I'll take 10 more games of "underachieving." Then I can enjoy my undeserved NCG trophy.

Think about it like this - Minnesota is way better than UConn and Akron. We're doing okay... Just give us more than 5 possessions! 2 went for TDs and one was cut short by the zebras.

If we can march and score a TD, then maybe Minnesota has to start opening up a little bit. I am not thrilled with the performance in the first half, but we are ahead and have the ball to start. The first drive of the game was just what the doctor ordered, and hopefully we can pick it up a little in the second stanza. Let's go blue!

their seems to be an agenda outside of winning that has to be accomplished so everyone can point to a goal achieved, and say, 'yeah, we did what we set out to do, now we are that team on offense.''

And so today's lesson is,.let's prove we can run the ball with our new Oline. How about this: just take advantage of the defense and then go about proviing whatever internal point needs to be made for team benefit.

Here's the other thing that drives me crazy about Michigan: Why don't special teams matter? I mean is it bad to try make teams pay on special teams? Is simple competency the only goal? Is using it as a weapon a bad thing.

Wile has punted great and kicked not so great. OK. But can we try and block punts kicked out of the endzone. Can we go for it with less than a yard near midfield out of punt formation if not on 4th down. Force Minnesota to execute. All they want to do is run clock.

Now that I have calmed down and stopped being a dick here are some thoughts:

1. Minny had 115 yds and had the ball for almost 20 minutes.
2. We scored on 2 of 4 possessions.
3. Minny started their best QB today not the guy that started at Iowa.
4. The Kill incident might have given them a little juice.
5. We get the ball first and if we score we can begin to control the game.

I don't understand this. The first four games everyone is bitching about how Gallon is the only one who gets the ball. Now chesson and funchess have more catches in a game and people are bitching. I'm fine with gallon having an easy day with simple catches and some run blocking. DG just needs to hit the best option on any play. Period.
