Is he getting it repaired or taken out? If its only 4 weeks then I assume its the latter, which is unfortunate. His knee will regret that in his later career.

Weber is going to have surgery.   I tore my meniscus last fall kick boxing, and partially tore the MCL.  Ive avoid surgery however there are loose bodies in there and I get a bit of pain after running on it for awhile.  It will never heal on its own and someday I will need surgery.

I mention this because it would be impossible for me to play football and cut on my knee, even though I can run straight and cycle with no major problems, just a bit of soreness after.  A RB will definitely need surgery to make it though that.  He should recover easily, but should probably red shirt.

That's kind of where I am.  He made a decision under pressure that may or may not have been the best for him, but I respect his decision and hope he has a quick recovery and great career.

Except I hope that when he plays Michigan he coughs up a fumble at Michigan's 8 yard line, with Michigan recovering, and less than a minute remaining in the 4th quarter to seal a Michigan victory.  Every single freakin' year of his career.

But I never wish injury upon a kid. Honestly, every time I think about a kid skipping out on an opportunity to attend The University of Michigan I get nauseated and tend to believe they just wanted to take the easier route. I hope he heels quick and can make the field one day so that a tough, no easy way out, Harbaugh team can eat his lunch. Heal quickly Weber.

Some of you are proving that he made the right decision just off of the lack of class with your comments. I am still upset too, about him going to OSU, but not due to him making the decision to go to OSU, but how he was lied to by his own coaches before and after his commitment. The kid was, in short, swayed due to a proven system with RB's, a team that is already at the top and will compete for more conference titles and championships and the opportunity for playing time.

If you are objective, you cannot fault him. Michigan would have been a great decision as well. However, you have to feel for him. He probably was very embarrassed and felt betrayed once his position coach and lead recruiter left. Then, after he's finally emotionally at peace with the matter and playing football, he injures himself.

Don't be a jerk, and say "karma" or "wouldn't have happened at Michigan". That isn't how this blog functions, and never will be.

Because OSU exudes nothing but class, what a crap statement. Trying to justify his decision to go to OSU is pathetic. It is just about as stupid as his Born in Detroit shirt, if you are proud of Detroit go to your childhood favorite and lead them back to national prominence. And oh by the way, you only have one of the best head coaches and running backs coach in all the land to help you.

He was punked by Urban, flipped on Harbaugh and I completely understand how UM fans want him to struggle. I hope he regains full health in time to play significant snaps in The Game and gets a welcome home reception that is reserved for OSU players. Hopefully, Joe Bolden will get to welcome him back home in the OSU backfield after he de-cleats him for a loss.

People need to stop for a second and think..."how would I feel if this were my kid?" ..before they get online and act like a bunch of classless , mouth breathing, Ohio State fans.

Comparing a true freshman in his first camp to a pair of Juniors makes zero sense. I mean if its true that Weber was pushing for second string carries on that team then he might just be a pretty good back when all is said and done.
