Michigan offers 2020 QB DJ Uiagalelei
Coming on the heels of the offer to 2019 QB Taisun Phommachanh, it looks like Harbaugh has it in for the announcers. Also MGoBloggers who struggle to spell McCaffrey.
DJ is an early 4* pro style from Bellflower, CA. As a sophomore he's already 6'4" and 240(!) lbs. Early predictions are for USC.

Am I reading his HUDL correctly -- he completed 90% of his passes this season?

He was at (or around) 90% compeltion percetange for a stretch of time.
But he finished the season (12 games) with 65.9% (164/249), 2733 passing yards, 29 TDs, 2 INTs. He also added 379 rushing yards on 67 carries (5.7 ypc) and 4 rushing TDs.

Yeah, right? He's getting to a top QB weight as a HS sophomore. You'd think he's at least 20 pounds short of his grown man weight. I for real wonder if he might end up playing TE, or switch to the defensive side to play line.

He is listed at 190 elsewhere so 247 might have measured him after a big Sunday brunch

i believe. I saw it too and a little later so the revised figure so assumed a few years had gone by. Also means he's still growing so this is possibly what Harbaugh was waiting on to see what he was offering, a QB or lber/TE type.

USC has like four Bosco dudes on the roster (UCLA has a couple too I think). That will be tough to overcome. Would be Michigan's first pull from Bosco I think.

is that CA produces a lot of good QBs seemingly every year. USC and UCLA will only take one each most years and he may not be a great fit for UCLA's offense.

Fwiw, Bosco just lost their offensive coordinator yesterday, he is the new Mission Viejo head coach.

The kid definitely has a cannon for an arm, all his throws pretty effortless, he never really stepped into the throws it seemed. Pulling someone from St. John Bosco would be pretty sweet, they produce a ton of D1 kids.

Can anyone find what the D and the J stand for? I literally searched for 15 seconds and could not find it ANYWHERE.

This guy should try and graduate HS in 3 years. While its only a sophmore year highlight video I saw, he looks ready to play in college next year.
