Michigan in Kendall Fuller's Top 3

Submitted by hart20 on

Michigan has made the top 3 for Kendall Fuller. Most consider it to be a two way race between Va Tech and Clemson, with Michigan in 3rd. Most analysts are betting that he goes to Va Tech, and I'm inclined to agree. But if we get him on campus again, who knows what could happen?

Anyways, the information is publicly available in the title of the article on the Michigan Rivals' site. Just click on the link: http://michigan.rivals.com/

I have had this weird feeling since nkemdiche committed that he is going to Clemson.  I have a feeling that our most recent committment will probably end the chances of Fuller to Michigan.  I think the fact that he hasn't committed to Virginia Tech yet really says a lot.  My guess is O'Daniel is going to be recruiting him pretty hard.  I was really bummed when we stopped recruiting O'Daniel.  Not only is he a terrific talent, but I think we would have then gotten Fuller.  I hope we still get Fuller however as he is an elite talent.

I'm sure we could find room for the #2 CB recruit int he country... although I agree that it's seeming less likely.

Also, his teammate that Michigan was looking at as a Safety recruit, Kirk Garner, just commited to Virginia.

Fact:  If he commits anywhere before his senior year begins, it will NOT be to us.

Opinion:  If he waits until signing day, and we have a scholarship open.... I'm saying there's a chance.

Just another reason you don't.burn your bridges. Everyone knows that O Daniel is in Fullers ear about us and how we led him on etc. Clemson gets all 3 now IMO

Pisses me off about Odaniel and Fuller

Here we go again...I really think Hoke and Co. are trying to fill this class with kids who want to play for Michigan and he is showing all the pre-modonna's that we are not waiting.(Treadwell and Mathis) It may be unfair to say that though since they are young kids trying to find the right fit. Either way this 2013 ship is about to sail and its all aboard or so long. IMO. Our coaches are good enough to coach a mid-level talent up to a "good player" but I think they know talent & potential when they see it. In Hoke I trust, I just question some of the decisions. lol I guess that is why I was not hired though. Never the less I hope we finish with atleast Bailey and Mcquay or Bailey and Treadwell.

Someone that has enough points needs to post that we made Alabama 5star ATH Bo Scarbrough's top 5. He will visit next month and a decision could be coming by the end of the summer and some people think it is between us and Bama. His top 5 is Michigan, Bama, Clemson, UGA, and UF. In no particular order. I think this is thread worthy, compliments of Andrew Bone's twitter.( I think that is is name) That would be an amazing start to 2014 and could trigger an......wait for it.......EVEN BETTER CLASS THAN 2012 OR 2013. I am going to write a new tune about how online Michigan fans seem to think they know better than Hoke and staff on how to recruit. I will name said song, "The Hubris of the Hoke Sniper."

I know that football games, especially in the Big 10, are won and lost on the lines.  Nevertheless, I am a little disappointed that after the 2012 OL haul and early 2013 OL rampage, coupled with the stud pro style QB with a howitzer, that we haven't been able to pull down many "top" WR / RBs.  Don't get me wrong, I think we have great quality there, but given the pieces in place early, we really had an amazing selling point for any elite RB / WR:  1) RBs: You will run behind a brick wall / crushing FB, plus will be protected from defenses by your stud QB.  2) WRs: Your pro style QB with a rocket arm will be protected by a brick wall.

I'm sure some of these WR/RB recruits will make this go away.  I really like the height on some of these guys.  They have terrific opportunities ahead and might be great sleepers.
