Michigan has three receivers with 600+ yards

Submitted by MGoGrendel on

I saw this pop up on FB just now and don't see that there is a post for it.

This is the first Michigan team that has three different receivers with 600+ yards!

Not pictured here: Jake Rudock! Congrats to all four of you.

the Michigan passing game to attain that feat----I haven't seen it posted until now.

Not only that, but I love that they showed all three of them in the road uniforms.  I've really grown to love those white uniform pants with Maize and Blue piping and hope they continue at least limited use of them.

How does this not matter? We had basically Funchess and hardly anyone else last year as targets. We knew Darboh, Chesson, and Butt had the ability to do well but 1. They were never open and 2. Devin hardly had time to see them before the DL was in his face. This proves that great position coaches can really do a lot in a year's time.

Glad to see the receivers are getting the coaching they deserve and are playing to their potential. Are Chesson and Darboh coming back next year?

Terrible typo in the flyer, coupled with this being a result of us not being able to run the ball a lick means who gives a shit

You see, one man doesn't prospect from the ground. It takes a whole community of good people, such as these young men... and, uh, this is good. We stay together. We pray together, we work together and, if the good Lord smiles kindly on our endeavor, we share in the wealth together.

For anyone interested -

Amara Darboh - 703 yards receiving

Jehu Chesson - 646 yards receiving

Jake Butt - 620 yards receiving

That's 1,969 yards of Michigan's 2,812 total yards receiving, or 70.02% of the total. That's impressive output from three players really.

Next year should be even more productive while the running game will also be improved IMO. With O'Korn having a whole year in the program to learn and get used to the receivers, offense will be humming.
