Michigan Basketball Game 1 Thread

Would like to see what YoYo and Barnes could do tonight. We’ve seen a lot of Baker and some others. 

Game one, but to my eyes, Jett is the most NBA ready freshman since Webber.

I didn't like the vibe of last year's team with Moussa and Houstan and the point guard guy from the small school. Fine enough players, but this year seems better.

Lots of growth still to come, but this years newbies look like a better fit -- and higher ceiling -- than last year's newbies (frosh and transfers).

Bufkin is still finding his shooting touch, but I see the potential way more than last year.

I'll never get Howard and these weird line ups and rotations he plays. He just left the subs in there too long.

Need to take the lid off our hoop and stop their 12-0 run

Being able to stop runs like this is clearly a top concern for this team.

I hope Dickens get at least half the foul calls the times he's hacked this season.

Ball movement is great. Shots aren’t falling unfortunately.

Interesting no call as the inbounder stepped on HD but never actually went fully out of bounds to put the ball in play.

How was Jett not a 5 star? He's so much smoother and his shot is quicker than Houston's.

Well Jett is a scorer.

Starters are good.  Need to tighten the rotation to like 8 so the inexperienced kids have someone to rely on.

Jett Howard is who we thought Caleb Houstan was going to be. 

Jett is the real deal. OMG. It is going to be fun watching this team this year. Jett can easily take over a game both on offense and defense.

Sooooo, imma hafta recalibrate my expectations if this is what a Jett Howard looks like all the time.

Baker's jumper is clean.  Ballhandlers seemingly doing a good job -- bigs have more TOs, team has 8.  Exceeding my game 1 expectations.

I mean even if all the other pieces perform like the guys last year so far Jett>>>Houstan. Defensively putting in the effort too.

Rebounding seems to be an issue, not great on the offensive glass.
