Michigan Basketball Featured on Yahoo!
Someone needs to update their stock photo gallery. This is the picture that greets you on the Yahoo! NCAABB page
Interesting choice of player to include, but I'm sure they were just looking for a good expression from Beilein. Anyway, full story link here.

on MGoBlue.com (in their best-picture-of-the-week poll), but admittedly without Beilein. (Tried to embed, but all that copied was "Buy This Picture.")

Photo is watermarked, but nonetheless you get the idea.
Kind of funny to see how Horford is using the guy's face as a way to get a little extra lift up, flattening said opponent's nose. Looks like something out of Moe Howard's playbook.

As opposed to a picture of Manny......

That's Laval Lucas-Perry, not Manny Harris. Do you watch the basketball team?

At least it is someone STILL IN COLLEGE BASKETBALL AND NOT MANNY HARRIS....

It could be interpreted as:
(Post a photo os someone who is) at least still in CBB as opposed to a picture of Manny.
However, I gave you the benefit of the doubt in that you meant:
At least (it is a picture of someone) still in CBB as opposed to a picture of Manny

How do you get a command out of his post? What about the grammatical structure indicates a command instead of a statement? Was it the dual use of ellipses? Really passive-aggressive influences growing up...

I'm loving the positive attention. Any front page action is a major plus. It shows the potential recruits we are still the best brand/program in the nation. Hands down I believe that!!! Go Blue.

I agree. The picture is a bit dated (not this season) but it shows that we are on the rise again as a basketball program. It gets the attention of recruits and fans as well. Love it.

For all of the "renewal," he still has them eighth in the Big Ten. That's fine by me, though. I agree with JB on this one. They don't need the adulation yet because it will make it more difficult for them to play "one game at a time." Last year, I got the feeling that the team felt like they were going to make the NCAA because they were "back," and all they had to do was put on uniforms that said "Michigan" across the front.
This year, JB has a very coachable team. They are young, and nobody has really accomplished a lot yet. Of those who return and are experienced (Morris, Douglas, and Novak), they all have great attitudes and are like extensions of JB on the floor. The youngsters are listening and working hard.
This is the first team I have seen at Michigan under JB that looks like it is fully paying attention and has fully bought into everything he coaches. Am I allowed to use the term "all in" in reference to the basketball team?

Jon Horford looks like his brother, wears the same number as his brother...if he could be 75% of his brother on the basketball court before graduation we could really be a factor
