MGoRoundtable Post?

Submitted by Ernis on March 29th, 2024 at 11:18 AM

I listened to the beginning of the MGoRoundtable yesterday on WTKA, but was unable to stay with the broadcast for numerous reasons. However, what I heard of the astonishingly solo Craig Ross’s opening salvo was not only an affront to the strictures and conventions of radio broadcasting, but may have struck a fatal blow to the very concept of entertainment itself.

How many listeners not only turned their dial, but solemnly disavowed any future listening to WTKA? Will this be the swan song of the MGoRoundtable? Will Sam ever be able to financially recover? Has the recording not been posted to the main page because Seth is across the pond or because its content, surmisedly a nearly 60-minute onslaught of Craig bloviating unmolested by sense of decency or contributions from other panelists, is being relegated to uncreation? These are the questions.

But, OP, is this truly The Question?

Actually, my dear Hamlet:

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them: to die, to sleep
No more ....

(Sorry, it's Friday. The markets are closed, the office and warehouse are empty, a nap calls out to me on this Good Friday)

Flowery language aside, the roundtable is not on the mgoblog podcast feed but it is on the wtka michigan insider one its just labeled as craig ross not the roundtable this week which was rather confusing as I only figured that out now after far too much work.

Brian and Seth were away so Craig Ross was the only member on the roundtable, yesterday. Seth is in France. Sam disclosed their absence when the roundtable segment opened. That is the reason why there has been no MGoBlog Roundtable posted.
