Not mine, and I'm close to AA.

Also META-ish related, Ace told me via Twitter the first MGoPodcast of the season will drop on either Monday or Tuesday. It's being recorded tomorrow.
Is anyone else having trouble breathing right now?
August 15th, 2014 at 8:22 PM ^
No. Not me. This beautiful fall-like weather with low humidity makes it a joy to go outdoors and breath deeply, as it feels like football weather.
While I'm at it, all my other G-rated functions are performing just fine, too.
---drinking? Doing well, there, just having popped the top off the first bottle of a six of Founders Pale Ale, it's going down gooooood.
---eating? #eating.
---seeing? I can see for miles and miles, I can see for miles and miles, I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles....(was listening to and enjoying some classic WHO earlier today, can you tell? Besides, the cool crisp outdoor air is also very clear)
Besides that, all the plumbing has been working just fine all along. I'd say "all systems go" at this point.

Nothing yet in the hinterlands near Metro Airport either, and I live within a 15-minute drive of the Allen Park USPS distribution center and a UPS sorting facility. I suspect that both of those places hate for the amount of stuff that travels from this house, so perhaps they are hesitant to bring anything TO the house.

But damn, you gotta see and hear that entire song, especially being that it's Carly Simon---she was (IMO) the hottest woman in rock back in the 70's!
August 15th, 2014 at 10:38 PM ^
I thought about that but went with the version that got straight to the point. Besides, much of the crowd round these parts probably couldn't appreciate Carly. Sigh...the 70s.

by posting that Heinz Ketchup commercial. Like I said, that was a great and memorable TV commercial.
I was just professing my unrequitted love and lust for Carly Simon...

Live on the Ypsilanti side of Ann Arbor. Trying to wait on reading it until I get my physical copy, but I feel I am running out of time.

Brian could have stood at Stadium and Main and handed them out as you drove by.

Outstanding idea for next year!
Not only will we local recipients not have to wait for mail delivery systems to do whatever the hell they do to delay delivery so long, but we may also be able to share pleasantries with Brian. (or unpleasantries depending on how deep into August it is next year...).

I believe this question was addressed in one of the (relatively recent) front page explanation posts by Seth. I'm too lazy to look it up myself, but you could try starting there.

I tutor AP classes. English, US history, Micro, Macro, and US Gov. Fortunately for me that only covers a few hours a week this time of year. Come March through May it'll cover ten to fifteen hours per week.
I enjoy it, but also relish the time off after the exams.
To live in the AP?! That must be brutal. More power to you, and please try to step out of the stress zone whenever you can.
Re: One Direction....I've already been snarky enough...and don't know enough about One Direction to continue the snark...

Me too, in Duluth.
I feel bad for all the logistical problems Seth has had to tackle with this, much less the personal tragedy he dealt with on top of it. What headaches. I'm just glad I have it a couple of weeks before the season, when it matters most anyway.

So, I responded to one of the kickstarter updates that was only asking for submissions of international addresses with my very domestic address. Twice. I'm a monster.
I would totally understand if this is the reason I haven't received my HTTV copy yet.

have their HTTV yet?
It often feels like this county is on the outside looking in, as far as the state of Michigan is concerned. Illinois (especially Chicago) folks consider this area as part of their playground. The FCC considers us a suburb of South Bend---I'm not allowed to have a single Michigan TV channel on my DirecTV lineup. If it weren't for the BigTen Network and FoxSportsDetroit, this would be my version of hell. And now the USPO is screwing me over, too, by withholding my HTTV (for ransom?).
