Nov. 24 vs. Tarleton State

Are we making up schools now? I feel like my knowledge of colleges and universities runs pretty deep (I know of Prairie View A&M), but I swear this school didn't exist until we scheduled a game against them.

I did google...they are out of Stephenville, TX to save you the time of doing what I already did.

I refuse to believe there's a school called Tarleton State. I'm so confident it's fake that I won't even Google it. Maybe I'm obstinate,  but it's simply against everything I stand for to believe in Tarleton State.

"I truly appreciate the willingness of Coach (Juwan) Howard and Warde to provide this opportunity to open our arena with the state's premier Division 1 program," Fournier said in a statement.  "To me, it underscores their genuine support for the City of Detroit and our community.”

Think this is right for the Big Ten schedule

Home single plays:

Minnesota, Northwestern, Maryland

Away single plays:

Wisconsin, Penn State, Indiana

Home and home:

MSU, OSU, Iowa, Nebraska, Purdue, Rutgers, Illinois

Probably two games against like the five other best teams, give or take Wisconsin this year.

Keep waiting for a year where the final regular season game is at home.  Seems like it's been a LONG time...

Just went back and checked.  It was 2015-16.  So this is the sixth consecutive year that they are scheduled to finish on the road. :(

This is like the 4th year in a row where we end the season on the road.  Not sure what it will take for the conference to give us a senior day on the last weekend of the season.

I am booked my flight and hotel. Staying at the Park. This will continue me and my buddies Thanksgiving Michigan Basketball journeys:

2017: Maui Classic

2018: Mohegan Sun

2019: Battle for Atlantis

2020: Damn you covid would have been in London (not thanksgiving, but close enough)

Plus all the times they played in New York/Brooklyn.

As a side note I have only seen them lose twice, LSU in 17, and once in NY against Villanova.
