Men's Basketball Last 4 Out in ESPN Backetology
As tough as the year has been, they win at Indiana and the Wolverines are back on the bubble.

We'll move up from that after we take out Staee Saturday at the Breslin Center for in-person learning.

That would erase every other loss in my book! Please let this happen!

,,,,presented by Rocket Mortgage and 4Loko
January 25th, 2022 at 3:54 PM ^
And Axe Body Spray.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:18 PM ^
lol. I had that in my original but changed it to 4Loko....(not Busch Light all due respect.) Like to think that fanbase has moved on from Axe to the next iteration of bro style but wasn't sure what that would be.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:44 PM ^
Busch Light is a step up from Keystone Light.
In my humble opinion.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:18 PM ^
And Jet Pizza, right? I'm feelin' some synergies!
January 25th, 2022 at 3:25 PM ^
You mean “First Four Out”. Last four out would mean we are somewhere between 347-350 in the country. It’s been a tough start to the season, but not that rough!
January 25th, 2022 at 3:27 PM ^
Darn it. I always mess up my posts.
January 25th, 2022 at 3:32 PM ^
Eh- the photo covers off on it and people can figure out what you meant. Don't sweat it!
January 25th, 2022 at 4:26 PM ^
I knew what you meant, and I'm the guy who can't tell the difference between < and >.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:08 PM ^
Enough BPONE. A more optimistic view sees this as an opportunity for a top 4 seed in the NIT.
January 25th, 2022 at 3:34 PM ^
Has MDen started selling first four out gear yet?
January 25th, 2022 at 3:46 PM ^
didn't expect to see another call for WD so soon after the last one...
January 25th, 2022 at 5:01 PM ^
Why not just repurpose some OSU football gear from this season?
January 25th, 2022 at 3:39 PM ^
I'd rather we win out and get a 6-7 seed, but winning the national championship from the first four out would be a shock the world story that writes itself.
January 25th, 2022 at 3:53 PM ^
Harbaugh: brings football to the CFP after years in the wilderness.
Howard: hold my beer.
January 25th, 2022 at 3:55 PM ^
UCLA says almost hello
January 26th, 2022 at 1:16 AM ^
If we won out, including the B1G tourney, we'd be higher than a 6-7 seed don't you think? Probably 3 seed at worst.
January 25th, 2022 at 3:55 PM ^
Michigan still has all their goals in front of them.
Just have to hope that they have truly turned the corner now and are all on the same page.
Excited to see if this team can turn it around and win enough games in the last part of the season
January 25th, 2022 at 3:55 PM ^
This prediction will be out the window as the team continues to gel and improve. Way too early projection in my book.
January 25th, 2022 at 3:55 PM ^
Lol! First four out in January. This is ridiculous. But yeah I forgot my lotto tickets for this weeks drawing I’m glad I got my reminder early.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:01 PM ^
People might use this info to make some money from Vegas. It could be a prime opportunity if a bettor really thinks the team has turned a corner.
January 26th, 2022 at 1:41 PM ^
It’s almost February and the tourney is in March. Why exactly is this ridiculous?
January 25th, 2022 at 4:02 PM ^
Let us in!!
January 25th, 2022 at 4:03 PM ^
I mean hard to argue after all the losses. Still time to turn it around, but not a huge margin for error.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:10 PM ^
This feels a tad aggressive and the team still feels like it has a big hill to climb. Pathway seems to be winning every home game we have and then finding a way to win 2 of the away games at MSU, Purdue, OSU, Iowa and Wisconsin.
That is obviously to feel pretty good going into the big ten tourney, can drop an extra game or two if they are making a run to the tourney semis or finals but that isn't a position you want to be in.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:27 PM ^
Good news! That means this team is on the upswing.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:35 PM ^
With all respect, OP, I don't see the point in looking at any "bracketology" until the end of the season. Everyone knows that Michigan has underachieved relative to expectations and that an upswing still seems possible. As McGary might've said, "Win the game."
You want to see some extreme bracketology and sports nerd wanking? Read any one of hundreds of articles near the end of a pro season that break down the hundred or so playoff scenarios (depending on the W/L of several teams). Some people must be really bored.
January 25th, 2022 at 4:36 PM ^
At this point…I’LL TAKE IT!!?
January 25th, 2022 at 6:20 PM ^
What happened to Wyoming’s logo?
January 25th, 2022 at 10:40 PM ^
The logo made the cut for the tournament, just not the team itself.
January 26th, 2022 at 1:18 AM ^
It didn't want to be associated with Wyoming anymore.
January 25th, 2022 at 6:25 PM ^
Sounds about right. The team is currently ranked 38 in the NET rankings, 7th highest in the B1G. How many teams from the B1G are going to get in?
January 25th, 2022 at 6:38 PM ^
That's okay. If the Indiana game really was a turnaround win, then we'll be fine because we have plenty of games left to keep building our tournament resume.

January 25th, 2022 at 8:58 PM ^
Must be late January.
The days are getting noticeably longer (though still not nearly long enough), NFL Championship Game and Super Bowl talk, and the first serious talk about bracketologies.
January 27th, 2022 at 9:37 AM ^
Not sure UM is a “work in progress”, or is on the rise, after NW game last night. I think this team has a much lower ceiling than what was assumed. It’s going to be a choppy ride to the end.
