As tough as the year has been, they win at Indiana and the Wolverines are back on the bubble.

You mean “First Four Out”.  Last four out would mean we are somewhere between 347-350 in the country.  It’s been a tough start to the season, but not that rough!

I'd rather we win out and get a 6-7 seed, but winning the national championship from the first four out would be a shock the world story that writes itself.

Michigan still has all their goals in front of them.

Just have to hope that they have truly turned the corner now and are all on the same page.

Excited to see if this team can turn it around and win enough games in the last part of the season

Lol!  First four out in January.  This is ridiculous.  But yeah I forgot my lotto tickets for this weeks drawing I’m glad I got my reminder early.

This feels a tad aggressive and the team still feels like it has a big hill to climb. Pathway seems to be winning every home game we have and then finding a way to win 2 of the away games at MSU, Purdue, OSU, Iowa and Wisconsin.

That is obviously to feel pretty good going into the big ten tourney, can drop an extra game or two if they are making a run to the tourney semis or finals but that isn't a position you want to be in.

With all respect, OP, I don't see the point in looking at any "bracketology" until the end of the season. Everyone knows that Michigan has underachieved relative to expectations and that an upswing still seems possible. As McGary might've said, "Win the game."

You want to see some extreme bracketology and sports nerd wanking? Read any one of hundreds of articles near the end of a pro season that break down the hundred or so playoff scenarios (depending on the W/L of several teams). Some people must be really bored.

That's okay. If the Indiana game really was a turnaround win, then we'll be fine because we have plenty of games left to keep building our tournament resume.

Must be late January.

The days are getting noticeably longer (though still not nearly long enough), NFL Championship Game and Super Bowl talk, and the first serious talk about bracketologies.

Not sure UM is a “work in progress”, or is on the rise, after NW game last night. I think this team has a much lower ceiling than what was assumed. It’s going to be a choppy ride to the end.
