Refs were hot garbage as expected but the refs didn't give up 86 points to stinky Iowa who is starting one player who is NOT a freshman.

This is a bad loss.

I don't understand it at all. Everyone is healthy, including multiple, living and breathing senior starters for the first time since 2012.

I like Beilein a lot but I'm starting to have some doubts now. Was 2012-2014 just a perfect storm?

Beilein is a fine coach with a talented team. The problem is, he is the reason we don't have talented players. Michigan needs to begin searching for the next up-and-coming star coach.

I have a hard time believing this team peaked during week 2 in New York. That was some fun basketball to watch. Not controlling the game late in the 2nd half against a very young Iowa team was not fun to watch. We don' got had by Fran McCaffrey.

There's still a lot of season left but there is no excuse for this. Not having everyone healthy and having multiple senior starters.

It's not looking good right now.

Same thing they say about our OL next year. We're losing these guys so we'll be worse... No, losing crappy seniors will not make you worse.
As far as Beilein is concerned, he's continued the tradition of guys being worse players as seniors than they were as freshman.

What happened? I stopped watching this team 2 years ago. I can't stomach it. I'm not a person who gives up on a team when they're doing bad, but when you don't like a style that they play with, and that style loses you games and the coach sticks with it and makes decisions you can't stomach (auto-bench, recruiting wtf's, etc) it's difficult to take time out of my life to watch the circus. Don't worry I heard the defense was going to be top 200 this year, everyone was praising it before he season started...

Well to be fair there aren't any level right under elite athletes on this team either, but they are batlling mid majors for some upcoming recruits. Just wait a couple years and they'll be mediocre still.

I have been a Zak Irvin fan but I'm done. He continues to make horrible decisions and has not developed into the player he should be.

With 5 minutes left and M up 68-63. All I could think was I don't really want to watch this because it feels like we will lose. Tie game, 15 seconds left and inbounding at the opposite end of the floor and no time out or set play or anything? 4 seconds left and we're dribbling 1:1 35 feet from the basket with our back to it....I just don't get it. I mean it worked for Derek Whittenberg but still...
