MBB vs. Ohio State Open Thread
Yup. I'm going to lose my voice..
WOW, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT CALL?
Edit: On the replay it looked more believable. Still don't think he was all the way set, but w/e.
bullshit...f*ck that
I'm tired of watching sullinger get a foul called on every garbage flailing toss up he takes. Wish the refs would let them play down low a little, jesus.
That is the biggest bullshit charge ever
Wow...just...wow.
BS call
be fucking kidding me! A charge? Bullshit call. F these announcers
YOU HAVE TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME
What a flop by Sullinger.
were sullinger's feet not moving there? he wasnt set
Alright time to elbow Sullinger in the face.
In what realm of the imagination could Morris knock Sullinger over like that? Please. I don't normally complain about refs but let's be serious.
I'll gladly knock Sullinger over like that if he wants to get on skates.
It's Hightower and Valentine. This will not be a well officiated game. And down the stretch the odds of them making the game 100% about them are like 3 of 4.
They better give those calls to Novak later (I'm not betting on it)
new rule - if sullinger is involved in a play they have to call a foul.
He wasn't even CLOSE to being set. Not even CLOSE. Bull. Shit.
I thought Sullinger was soooooo physical and strong. HOW THE HELL DOES HE FALL WHEN MORRIS BARELY TOUCHES HIM? FUCK Sullinger and fuck the announcers sucking his dick constantly.
I hate that fat bastard.
Yup. I'm willing to bet Sullinger has 15 FT attempts by the end of the game.
FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
What a joke. He apparentyly was able to establish position by having his feet on the court? He was backpedaling!
I dont' disagree with the call - but call it both ways, for the love of Seva.
Gonna have to mute this game soon, Nantz and Kellogg are making me sick. Wish there were an alternate Gus Johnson audio channel for every game :(
This is a serious question.......
Is there actually a concrete definition of a Charge anymore? Because from what I understand the rules to be, that call on Morris was not anything similar to what the book says.
Watch Novak and his three "blocking" calls against Iowa a couple of weeks ago -- those were charges.
According to wiki rules of basketball:
Charge is physical contact between an offensive player and a defensive player. In order to draw an offensive charge the defensive player must establish legal guarding positioning in the path of the offensive player. If contact is made, the officials would issue an offensive charge. No points will be allowed and the ball is turned over. The defensive player may not draw an offensive charge in the "restricted zone"
Unless it's sullinger in which case he doesn't need position cause he's so tough down low, physical on the glass, and dreamy...
I have seen a ton of charge calls this year, where players weren't set at all.
Needs to continue taking the ball to the basket. Can't settle for jump shots!
Is it me or does it look like an OSU home game in the stands?
Is playing with a different set of rules. That was not a charge and then he hammered Morris next trip down. Garbage.
Thad Motta's bitching after the last game, worked. Sullinger is going to get every call today.
And one from Hardaway. Nice
THJ comin up big when we need him
AND 1!!
Hardaway's best game is driving -- I swear.
So, why the hell did everyone backpeddle and open a lane to the basket?
Christ, why not roll out the damn red carpet too?
someone tell smot he doesnt have to shoot every time he touches the ball
Morris is amazing
me like!
Smotrycz is not a slasher. wtf.
Also, how is that not an EFFING foul on Sullinger.
I'm honestly very surprised they didn't call that foul on Sullinger right there.
playing sullinger today reminds me of playing blake griffen in the second round of the tournament two years ago
gets every call
Also, kill Diebler.
