That doesn’t mean it wasn’t a harassment issue . . .

If it was a harassment issue Gloria Allred would already have had a press conference announcing she's representing the alleged victim in a civil suit against the University.

That's how you leave a program.

Really? With the police searching your house and fired for cause?

You are forgiven for your extremely vague computer misdeed apparent non-crime?
Good luck on your future endeavors.

I am assuming that there is absolutely zero chance that full details *don’t* come out, at some point in the not-so-distant future. That said, honestly? As long as this is just a “Matt problem” and not a “University of Michigan problem,” I really couldn’t care less.
Time to move on.

I'll be perfectly honest, I also like football.

He's putting the best face possible on it. Hopefully that's the end.

I assume we'll find out at some point what he did but it's probably the best for everyone involved that he's gone. I assume it'll ultimately be more dumb than sinister of an offense but we'll see.

Funny how much understanding this non-Michigan Man gets after a police raid on his house that has embarrassed the university, just because "we don't have all the facts", while WM gets dragged through the virtual streets of A2 based on pure speculation, emotions, and innuendo. And he is a Michigan Man. Funny how that works.

Is it funny? I mean the guy got fired--that's not a lot of "understanding." Warde has been on the job for years and hasn't shown much for it. In fact, the majority of the few big decisions he seems to have played a role in reflect pretty poorly on him.
Just because most Michigan ADs have been bad in the past doesn't mean we should have low expectations for the role. We're Michigan!

Didn’t know the M family was on the board until now.

This is not the tweet of someone who thinks he got railroaded for something he didn’t do.
January 21st, 2023 at 12:05 PM ^
It's the tweet of someone who wants a future in the same profession and shows he can keep his mouth shut if nothing else.

Since he joined team, we beat OSU both times, and only lost three times, once to MSU, and twice in playoff... he deserves a lot of credit, and I wish him well.

Nice of Weiss/UM’s legal counsel to chime in there.

I don't actually need to know what he did, but some assurance that whatever he did doesn't have massive implications for the football program would be nice.
