Manny Harris First NBA Game

Submitted by goblue232 on

Manny scored 8 points in 12 minutes as the Cavs got blown out by the Raptors.

Good to see him do well.  Maybe he'll become a part of the rotation.  Good for him.

Manny was efficient in scoring.  3-4 in FG and 2-2 in 3 Pt FG.  With Mo William recovering and Anderson Varejao injured, I would expect Manny to get limited PT until both are back to full health.

Actually, Varejao didn't play b/c he was with his father who was having heart surgery, so Andy should be back right away. The news today didn't explicitly say it was the Cleveland Clinic, but I have to imagine that's where. So it sounds like he is getting world class care. #1 in heart care - sorry this is the last thing we have to brag about in Cleveland now that hewhomweshallnotname has left - well that and the Rock Hall...

I'm gonna have to make it out to some Cavs games this year to support Manny - we can start a little chorus of Go Blue's for him. Nice to have a Michigan connection here in Cleveland again (alas Braylon and the 2007 season...)

I was at the Cavs home opener and went down on the floor during pregame warmups.  I yelled "Manny....Go Blue!" and he turned, smiled, gave me a big thumbs up and yelled "Go Blue" right back at me.

He looked good tonight.  I watched the game and could tell he benefited from not feeling like he had to shoot every time he had the ball.

His passing was crisp, and his shot selection was decent.  Hopefully he'll be able to keep contributing, and hopefully not in garbage time.

Yes he did look good.  Byron Scott really likes his game and says he fits well in the Princeton offense the Cavs are going to run this year.  I expect him to start getting meaningful minutes in the not to distant future.

And at least 21 games times (I share season tickets) he's going hear "Go Blue" before the game!

we all no manny tends to be a streaky shooter. ultimately id like to see him use his quick first step to slash to the basket more often, rather than take 3s. but at this point, its good to see him shoot well and hopefully earn more playing time

he's doing well but man I wish he had stayed for his senior year. Michigan could have used him so much this year. This year could be ugly.
