I wouldn't call being private about your politics/party a virtue given the importance of discussion and debate in a democracy.

It's good to see Harbaugh advocating for an issue he knows and cares about. We need to knowledgeably talk about the policies and details together rather than just yelling into various echo chambers. Not here though, of course.

It is noteworthy that beliefs about, say, the Second Amendment and abortion tend to line up as often as they do.  The connection between the typical liberal and typical conservative positions on those issues is not at all necessary for intellectual consistency.

Seems like I should add that this is only an observation. I'm not advocating for anything here.

Obviously there is no connection between the two things, but I think that viewpoints often align is more indicative of how an individual views the world, rather than an indication of pure partisanship.

That being said I do work with both pro-2A and pro-choice Democrats (more union and rural types) as well as more libertarian types who vote Republican and are pro-2A and personally anti-abortion but who think the government should not regulate the choice (so technically pro-choice).

I don't think people actually align perfectly along party platforms as often as we think - I have always had very large disagreements with the party I generally vote for along certain issues - but the way individuals prioritize certain issues may cause them to vote for parties they only agree with half the time because that party represents their views on the issue most important to them. I know big time gun enthusiasts who vote Republican solely on 2A issues when they are otherwise a left-of-center individual.

No, no you are not, and apparently you are unfamiliar with what "skipping" something means... :-D

P.S. I am skipping this one too, as far as substantive comments are concerned, but want to opine that this will get ugly fast, and at least one person will be called a fascist, while another will be called a "retarded liberal cuck feminazi..."
