If the Lions draft a safety at #2, its really their own funeral.

Its like drafting a tight end in the top-10. You just don't do it, because you're not getting the value back unless they are the next coming of Gronk or Polamalu, which is extremely unlikely.

Take Hutch at #2 if he's there, but it seems unlikely that he will be if the Jags just tagged Robinson. Guess my question is you can always try to trade down, but are you going to find anyone to trade down with? There are no can't miss QB prospects this year, nobody that I personally would draft in the top-10, and this year's draft is lacking a bit in star power compared to previous years.

I guess if someone desperately needs a QB maybe they'll find a trading partner, but again, I don't think there are really any fully polished prospects that are worth taking that high. I'd tell the Lions to wait until Day 2 to find a QB, because the value they get there will be comparable to whatever QB they'd pick at #2.

You haven't seen Kyle Hamilton play much then. Dude is huge and has amazing range. At this time in the NFL he can legit match up with the super athletic tes that the league has. He can cover the slot too. Look up the FSU tape this year. Guys don't play their quarter poation and pick a ball on on thr far sideline, getting both feet in, like he did. Guy is special
