What's Kiffen's strategy here? (a) Anger two-time National Champion Florida: check (b) Alienate a high school with regular NFL talent: check (c) Be reprimanded by the SEC: check (d) Generally look like a d-bag: check Nice, classy way to start your tenure there, Lane. Especially with a rebuilding project on your hands. Good luck against Florida this year.

I don't know what Kiffin is trying to do. To me he seems like a media clown aching for more attention. I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow he held a press conference and said, "LOLZ HAHA Les Miles, Janzen Jackson likes me more!!!"

He is either calling the staff stupid or corrupt. Way to go dude. Someone should tell him that Pahokee sends kids all over...like to Michigan. Seems like the classic case of an NFL guy strutting into the NCAA like he owns it. Could be met with some lulz on the field.

Urban Cryer will have no problem running the score up on them. This guy really needs to shut up and for the 1st time in a long time Al Davis is right about something....LK is a D-Bag

this isn't a huge deal. a lot of incoming coaches will try to get under their rivals skin (see rick neuheisel and ucla last year, or sweater vest when he first arrived). personally i like it. now he just has to back it up.

It's one thing to get under your rival's skin, but calling the coach, by name, a cheater and accusing him of recruiting violations seems a little much. But disrespecting Pahokee is just a bone-head move. Why would you do anything that might piss off one of the nations best schools in terms of HS football talent? I just don't see the point in making those remarks...there is no upside. Developing good relationships with high schools and their football coaches is a very important part of recruiting, and Kiffin essentially said the people running Pahokee are a bunch of assholes.

Kiffin has just pissed off one of the two major schools in the area that produces THE MOST NFL PLAYERS PER CAPITA. Google "Muck Bowl" for further info on Pahokee and Glades Central. What a total moron. At best, it comes off as having a severe chip on his shoulder. At worst, it sounds like extreme paranoia.

The drama is definitely fun to observe, but I really do think that Kiffen's actions have been more haphazard than calculated. He has no filter whatsoever. This is (happily) going to be a recurrent thing for him. There is no doubt in my mind that Florida is going to put a beat down on these guys next year without mercy.
