Kyle Bosch is back on campus
Glad to see his personal issues were taken care of and he's back on campus.
Back in Ann Arbor!

Glad to hear it, does anyone know if he redshirted this season?

But you are allowed to get a medical hardship for family issues as well, so there isn't really much preventing them for applying for one (in which case, his snaps against App St don't really matter, he didn't take any after that).

I believe medicals are submitted to the conference at the end of the academic year, so we likely won't hear anything until mid to late summer.

more depth. as bad as our OL has been the past few years, we have been pretty lucky in having very few injuries there.

Great News, hopefully will get some playing time on the OL hopefully soon.

Great to hear that Bosch has returned.
Hopefully, whatever was troubling him in September is no longer troubling him (quite so much at least). It was very sudden when he left, and as no timetable had been given, I know a lot of people wondered "when" as well as "if", but glad to see him back with the team.

It might be helpful if we didn't just assume his issues are "no longer troubling him," but rather hope that he's received assistance to make his issues manageable. These things don't just disappear, if indeed his absence was for issues related to mental health.

I was trying to go for a broader statement, not assuming that it was a mental health issue. Apologies if it was unclear. I didn't get the impression that it was anyway from the precious little that was out there when he took leave, and we may never know.
As someone who has had such issues - and still has them, albeit managed - I am well-aware that they do not simply go away.

Your post was thoughtful, genuine, and suggested none of the things insinuated by Bando.

Hope everything comes up Harbaugh for him this year!

Curious, and maybe it was mentioned before and I missed it, but did Kyle indicate he will be back playing football or should that just be assumed?
January 5th, 2015 at 1:39 PM ^
Not that football is the most important thing in the world, but would love to have more interior line depth.
January 5th, 2015 at 1:51 PM ^
I agree 100%, didn't mean to make priority seem like the priority, certainly very happy for Kyle to return to the University. I asked the question given the possibility of also having his talents on the football field, something I'm sure would also help add normalcy to whatever circumstances he was faced with on a personal level.
Welcome back Kyle

plus the tweet appears to be directly from Kyle himself, so we don't have to debate the validity for seventeen threads! Welcome back Kyle!

Yesss, some good news!
January 5th, 2015 at 1:47 PM ^
Glad to see that Kyle is back in A2. Best of luck to him in his classes this semester.

Does anybody know exactly why he left? I dont mean to speculate, but I never knew he even left and then when I asked it has always been "family issues" , etc.
Does anybody know exactly why he left? Did he have a bit of a breakdown? Homesick?
I mean weirder things have happened to young people while away at college for the first time. I am just curious if anyone really knows.

If Bosch had wanted people to know, he would have been more specific. Let's respect his wish for privacy and stop speculating.
January 5th, 2015 at 2:18 PM ^
Great to hear. I'm sure no one's more excited about his return than Kyle.
January 5th, 2015 at 2:24 PM ^
So, the final answer is that he is enrolling early?
j/k
Glad to hear he is back and hopefully all is well.
January 5th, 2015 at 2:39 PM ^
Hope things are better for him.

Assuming he is back to play football this is a major 'addition' to the program. I was concerned he was part of the rumored OL attrition. Now, we likely get 3 more years from a player who was on par with Kalis and Braden in 2013, despite being a year younger.
This warrants celebration on par with a HELLO post, IMO, if not more.

Please respect the seriousness of what Bosch probably had going on in his life, and refrain from making jokes.
January 5th, 2015 at 3:32 PM ^
Glad to see Kyle is back. Not sure what his reason for leaving was, but frankly it's none of our business. If Coach Harbaugh and Michigan feel like he's cleared to come back then that's more than enough for me. Best of luck kid!

For the very informative post. This guy could be a great addition if he has worked out the issues that confronted him in the past.
January 5th, 2015 at 4:19 PM ^
Glad for him. Also, I'm excited to see what Drevno is going to be able to do with him.

Great news. He adds some much needed depth to the line. More importantly, it seems he has straightened out the issues he was having.

does anyone know if he will comeback and play football? I would presume so, but sometimes in these situations it is in the athletes' best health or interests to quit.
