Above 5,000ft maize starts to resemble the color gold. Mountain goats and marmots become pretty good conversationalist too.

As all alums know based on the first night late night talks in the dorms as we gather around our campfires and stories like this are passed down generation to generation.

three times, but now I will watch it again. That is a future DUDE. And a high-ceiling beast of a football player. Go Blue, young man!
January 25th, 2016 at 4:45 PM ^
I've been surprised at how little traction "DUDE" has been getting here since Brown's arrival. The entire Boston College football site at SB Nation was "DUDE" infused after just a few years at BC.
I think once people see more Brown up close and personal we will get a lot more DUDE talk.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:57 PM ^
Well, I'll do my part and refer to potential future dudes using coach Brown's preferred title. Hope it catches on; and it's not much of an adjustment with this board's penchant for Lebowski quotes.

So DUDE is the new STUD?

Is a DUDE. That guy can ball! Hope he goes to the good guys.

The kid can play, could argue his running is even better than Walker from a mix of balance speed and a true desire to hit anyone in his way when he needed to. Looks like he could be outstanding at a number of places on the field.

There might not be another school I like taking recruits from than PSU. It was genuinely shocking to get so much shit from them during the latter half of the Hoke years over our record and concussiongate considering how they embarassed themself with the Paterno thing.

And now you know why 60% of Harbaugh's players go to the league. He offers the best and coaches them up.

Every team left on his list is blue. He will be blue.

Reasons why Penn State feels confident:
1. He has been a long-time PSU lean
2. He took his final official visit there and announced he will commit three days after
Reasons why Michigan feels confident:
1. Harbaugh > Franklin
2. Some rumblings that Hudson is a silent from his visit to Ann Arbor last weekend
At this point, it's tough not to feel confident with Harbaugh against Franklin.
January 25th, 2016 at 6:32 PM ^
We should also remember that Penn State feels confident because @PsuLionInsider (who has since blocked about 1/4 of the Michigan fanbase) said the wheels were coming off at Michigan right before they lost about 20% of their 2016 class to Michigan and other places. They have their ever-optimistic "insiders" going for them.

I hope it's pronounced 'kah-lee-key' but it's probably 'kah-leek'. If he's displaying his savegery in maize and blue though, I will be happy syllable count be damned.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:27 PM ^
How do you pronounce his name?
January 25th, 2016 at 5:31 PM ^
'kah-leek'
January 25th, 2016 at 7:46 PM ^
Darn. I was hoping it was pronounced Ka-LEE-Kay so that we could sing "signing Khaleke Hudson is a nice way...to say 'fuck you' to Penn State."
January 25th, 2016 at 5:24 PM ^
I can't stop watching his highlights. He looks like a monster.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:26 PM ^
Unrelated but it sounds like MSU wont be flipping Miles Sanders from PSU. Dantonio apparently visited in home (or in school) and Sanders immediately reaffirmed PSU. I guess the charming smile and lack of tree climbing hurt there.
Which is great because (a) MSU didnt get a back in this class and now wont flip the #1 back and (b) anything that can lead to a 10 year extension for Franklin short of winning direct UM v PSU recruiting battles is a good thing.

Hmmm Lorenz just tweeted safety Isaiah Simmons now set to officially visit UM next week. Hudson is a S/"small LB" type (Peppers role) so I hope these are not related.
Hold me Aquaman.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:35 PM ^
We don't have any S types in the class besides one of the NJ WRs. Maybe Fuller but the coaching staff has told him he could play CB, which he wants. Khaleke would be Jabrill 2.0.
January 25th, 2016 at 6:03 PM ^
Metellus?
January 25th, 2016 at 5:37 PM ^
Simmons looks like he will grow into a full-sized LB - not the hybrid Safety... but fast nonetheless.
January 25th, 2016 at 6:05 PM ^
He also said that he expects Hudson to pick Michigan.
January 25th, 2016 at 6:07 PM ^
FWIW, I posted a scouting report on Khaleke Hudson a couple days ago (LINK). He's not as athletic as Peppers, but he could step in at Peppers's position in 2017 (or whenever Peppers leaves).

I usually don't watch recruits hudle highlights or anything but felt obligated from all the hype his page has gotten. Man, that guy is impressive, definitely worth a watch, if you haven't watched it is recommend you do, really hope we get this guy.

This kid seems terribly underrated by recruiting services.
