everyone except Brian Dohn is saying Michigan all the way

January 25th, 2016 at 4:21 PM ^
he also said he had never seen someone so torn and distraught like ten minutes before Dwumfour flipped
January 25th, 2016 at 5:10 PM ^
I'm pretty sure he was referring to James Franklin. That's the only logical explanation.

Schiano and Meyer are best friends. Did you know that?

Can't be Michigan, all of our commits are silently waiting till signing day. No?

Ironic.

ya think?
January 25th, 2016 at 4:19 PM ^
He would be a great addition to this class, talk about a ball hawking player to go along with all the other defensive recruits and Gary hopefully!!!
January 25th, 2016 at 4:24 PM ^
I love the taste of Penn State tears. Dwumfour and Hudson in 3 days would be just glorious.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:21 PM ^
Throw in Nordin too.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:27 PM ^
not very highly rated. Doesnt have a great offer list. Does his film look good?
January 25th, 2016 at 4:28 PM ^
January 25th, 2016 at 4:48 PM ^
that's good to hear.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:58 PM ^
I'm glad this assurance is helpful for you. And, not, you know, because the coaching staff wants him to be part of the team.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:10 PM ^
Upvote for Fallout Touchdown guy!
January 25th, 2016 at 4:29 PM ^
Brown and Harbaugh are really high on him, would be a huge addition to what they want to do on defense...play fast and wreak havoc.

dominant player in the game and it wasn't even close.
Besides, Penn is close to NJ so there is that!
January 25th, 2016 at 4:41 PM ^
As you note, you should evaluate any recruit based on a number of different factors, including recruiting service rankings, offer list, size, and highlight films.
Hudson's rankings are mixed, he doesn't have great size and his offer list is merely good. But in my profoundly amateur opinion, his tape is absolutely top-notch, A+ stuff. Absolutely pops off the screen.

Great film against what is supposedly pretty weak competition. However he went to Semper Fi and was dominant in the practice portion and showed well in the game itself as well when facing peers. Guy got top 5 marks on both defense and offense in practices.
Also wanted by Shoop, Aranda, Narduzzi - a few guys who know a bit about defensive players who are overlooked by many.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:40 PM ^
Not that this matters too much, but I thought I read that his high school is in the highest classification in Pennsylvannia. That's not really "weak competition," is it?
January 25th, 2016 at 4:43 PM ^
I wouldnt say I am a recruiting expert by any means, but I have watched quite a bit of film on kids this year... I havent seen any more impressive than this kids. This would be a huge pickup for us. He has the chance to be a stud
January 25th, 2016 at 5:00 PM ^
i can now confirm that yes, his film in fact looks good. Any seats left on the hype train?
January 25th, 2016 at 5:31 PM ^
I booked the entire first class cabin back in early November. It was a lonely ride for a while but now you will have to take standing room,.
January 25th, 2016 at 7:40 PM ^
Did you purposefully question Hudson's ability so that you could then watch his film and mgoredeem yourself?
January 25th, 2016 at 5:15 PM ^
Frankly, regardless of any of his offers/film/ratings, I would take him to basically seal the deal with Gary - so its a moot point.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:46 PM ^
so take that out of your calculations. Still a good player - classic late riser in the rankings based on his Senior season and all-star game.

Go to your neighbor's house, borrow his laptop, hook up with Netflix and watch Waterboy...the angry rippin' your head off scenes. Nuff said.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:28 PM ^
Besides Gary, he's the player that I hope goes Blue the most. His highlight reel is unreal, kid has a lot of talent on either side of the ball.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:53 PM ^
im liking this Don Brown guy
January 25th, 2016 at 5:03 PM ^
My favorite part is at the 7:13 mark where instead of highlighting him, they highlight the poor sap on the other team who he is about to bulldoze.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:30 PM ^
I need to talk to Khaleke and make sure he announces his time after 4pm. I have a geology lab until 3:50pm that day. Tweeting at him is the proper thing to do, right?
In all seriousness though, Khaleke is the one uncommitted recuit I'm most excited about whose last name isn't Gary. He would be a very welcome addition to this already tremendous class.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:39 PM ^
How 'bout who's first name is Gary?
January 25th, 2016 at 4:30 PM ^
January 25th, 2016 at 4:41 PM ^
It's been hammered home just about each and every single time that his name comes up, but anybody that hasn't seen his highlights yet owes it to themselves to give it a watch (somebody already linked it above):
There is no shortage of absolute domination, 15 minutes of borderline savagery is on display. At one point, he leaps over one kid and runs over another. Seeing how hard he hits makes the viewer feel it. Almost every single time that he lays down a block, he literally forces the defender to lay down. There is one point where he picks up the opposing team's entire offensive line, stacks them on each other's shoulders like some sort of bizarre circus act, and throws all five of them at the quarterback at once. If you look closely, you can see the opposing team's coaches sobbing tears over worrying about their player's lives. There are points where, due to the competitive advantage of having Khaleke Hudson out there, McKeesport is forced to only play three players on the field at a time, and the other teams still don't stand a chance. Almost every time the ball is in his hands, he makes something happen, and every single time the ball is in the opposition's hands, he makes them regret it.
If he goes anywhere but Michigan, I will be severely disappointed.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:49 PM ^
I just had a vision of a combination of Braveheart, Mike Singletary, and Rambo go through my mind as you described Khaleke's film...phenomenal description on your part.

He plays like Bob Sanders, but taller.

I showed his film to the misses, who gives no fucks about football of any sort. Told her this is why I really don't want our son playing.
The kid is just vicious. Get him in a winged helmet, STAT.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:39 PM ^
This could just add to our string of silent commits since 8 PM last nite.
I am looking forward to this guy in blue and gold for 4 yrs.
