Khaleke Hudson Announcing Wednesday

Submitted by JayZ1817 on

Khaleke Hudson will be announcing Wednesday per TomVH. Hudson has not announced a time, but it's down to Michigan, Penn State, Pitt, and UCLA. Has to be good for us!

As you note, you should evaluate any recruit based on a number of different factors, including recruiting service rankings, offer list, size, and highlight films.

Hudson's rankings are mixed, he doesn't have great size and his offer list is merely good.  But in my profoundly amateur opinion, his tape is absolutely top-notch, A+ stuff.  Absolutely pops off the screen.

Great film against what is supposedly pretty weak competition.  However he went to Semper Fi and was dominant in the practice portion and showed well in the game itself as well when facing peers.   Guy got top 5 marks on both defense and offense in practices.

Also wanted by Shoop, Aranda, Narduzzi - a few guys who know a bit about defensive players who are overlooked by many.

I need to talk to Khaleke and make sure he announces his time after 4pm. I have a geology lab until 3:50pm that day. Tweeting at him is the proper thing to do, right?

In all seriousness though, Khaleke is the one uncommitted recuit I'm most excited about whose last name isn't Gary. He would be a very welcome addition to this already tremendous class.

It's been hammered home just about each and every single time that his name comes up, but anybody that hasn't seen his highlights yet owes it to themselves to give it a watch (somebody already linked it above):

There is no shortage of absolute domination, 15 minutes of borderline savagery is on display. At one point, he leaps over one kid and runs over another. Seeing how hard he hits makes the viewer feel it. Almost every single time that he lays down a block, he literally forces the defender to lay down. There is one point where he picks up the opposing team's entire offensive line, stacks them on each other's shoulders like some sort of bizarre circus act, and throws all five of them at the quarterback at once. If you look closely, you can see the opposing team's coaches sobbing tears over worrying about their player's lives. There are points where, due to the competitive advantage of having Khaleke Hudson out there, McKeesport is forced to only play three players on the field at a time, and the other teams still don't stand a chance. Almost every time the ball is in his hands, he makes something happen, and every single time the ball is in the opposition's hands, he makes them regret it.

If he goes anywhere but Michigan, I will be severely disappointed.

And that's just his junior film. To watch the senior highlights I had to FedEx a waiver to the NCAA Clearinghouse and receive counseling on PTSD. Shame what he did to that running back from Harrisburg.

I showed his film to the misses, who gives no fucks about football of any sort. Told her this is why I really don't want our son playing.

The kid is just vicious. Get him in a winged helmet, STAT.
