Kevonte Henry trending towards Arizona

Greg Biggins put a crystal ball in for him to Arizona tonight.  His profile shows him being recruited by Nua and McDonald, and with both of them gone it should be a surprise to lose him.

Huh? He was basically gone before the first signing day, and hasn't been considered a commit since early December.

Which leads me to believe you don't follow recruiting closely.

Which is perfectly fine.

But then it doesn't make sense how something could be "exhausting" that you don't follow closely.

So either you knew he was gone almost 2 months ago...or you hadn't been paying attention and thus can't be tired about something you're not following.

I'm exhausted from trying to figure out how you could be exhausted by this news.

Arizona is a bit of a surprise (I had thought Oklahoma or Florida), but he admitted at the Polynesian Bowl that his contact with Michigan had dried up recently.

Any remaining high-level recruits, especially on the defensive side of the ball, would be hard to pull. Harbaugh is pretty openly testing the NFL waters, and Michigan just lost their DC.

There's also the fact that we're full on defense for the '22 class and haven't been recruiting anyone on that side of the ball since early December.

But yeah, this is because of Harbaugh and Macdonald.

We've only been looking at power RBs and OTs since the first signing day. Not sure where some of you all have been.

This isn't a surprise and has nothing to do with the Harbaugh contract situation.

I seem to remember that he has had somewhat of a troubled upbringing and the biggest reason for coming to Michigan was to be mentored by Courtney Morgan.

For someone with a troubled upbringing, USC may not be the best place to be based on the location of the campus.

I’m not sure what McDowell has to do with anything here?

USC is located in a pretty rough neighborhood. The campus itself is gorgeous, but you don’t have to go far to find trouble. Pretty easy for someone to get into trouble when you don’t have to go far to find it.

Doesnt mean you can’t get in trouble elsewhere, like McDowell, but you’re increasing those odds by putting the player in an environment where trouble is easier to find.

Is Conerly the only big target left on Michigan's board for 2022? I imagine that most of the rest of the class, if not all of it, is settled and most of the attention is focused on 2023.

Arizona is a surprise, and the fact that so many UM-connected players are heading there is now, as well, since Don Brown is no longer there. I thought Courtney was the sole reason he decided not to sign and that meant Washington would be a lock.
