We won't be congratulating him if things don't go well on November 2. A game on the road against a program that came within a hair of beating Urban Meyer that's sandwiched between Notre Dame and MSU isn't going to be a gimme.

Maryland has a couple dudes and I like Jackson but I will offer you a few reasons to ditch the nerves:

  • Harbaugh's Michigan teams have outscored Maryland 164-34
  • It's the Gattis/Locksley Vaguely in Conflict via Pressers Game so you know Gattis wants to put up a thousand that week
  • Being nervous about Maryland for two months doesn't sound very fun

Maryland's already lost 3 players to ACL tears this preseason including WR Jeshaun Jones and S Antwaine Richardson. Jones became the first player since Marcus Mariota to have his first three touches result in TDs (Jones's were a catch, run and pass against Texas) and Richardson is a former M commit who started 10 games for Maryland last year.

Backup QB Max Bortenschlager is out for a while with a stress fracture in his foot as well.

Watch out people, Maryland could be on tonsomething here. The staff is excellent now and they are getting a shit load of transfers. Locksley is a good play caller as well. Keep an eye on them w this and all the UA money.
