I love the University of Michigan and I am excited about coaching our Men’s Basketball Team next season and in the years to come ! Let’s go hang some more banners at “THE GREATEST UNIVERSITY IN THE WORLD “#GoBlue

Well, this is good news. I was, briefly, terrified that the new version of MGoBlog would kick off with a devastating story of Beilein skipping town.

I'd still be a fan, of course, but that would've been terrible. We may be in the middle of a golden age of Michigan basketball here.

me too............There's just way too much unfinished business with Harbaugh coaching at Michigan. If Beilein left it would suck but his time there would still always be remembered as a success where if Harbaugh left right now all would say that he failed, left cause he couldn't win, etc....Think many would also feel hopeless about the future of the football program if Harbaugh left today without achieving his/our goals.

At this point, probably Harbaugh, as there is still so much more that's left for him to prove here.

While it'd be great for Beilein to win it all while he's here, even if he left for the Pistons he's far exceeded anyone's expectations here. Played for a title twice in six years (should've won one), two conference tournament championships, two conference regular season championships, multiple first round picks with more on the way, and he's done it all while running the cleanest program in America. He's beaten countless teams that have had massive talent advantages over his own team, both at home and on the road. Results out the wazoo. He's brought Michigan back from the dead and then some. He really doesn't have much left to prove.

Harbaugh still has a lot to prove. If he left now, I'd give his grade here at UM an "I" for Incomplete.

So damn happy!

But that was way too close - let's get him signed up for the long-term.
