Joe Brady for OC
Hear me out LSU’s passing coordinator is 30 something year old Joe Brady. Look at what he has done for LSU and Burrow. Yes I know he isn’t the OC but Ed himself has said from time to time he is given the reigns in the booth and the results are speaking for themselves. He spent 2 years with the saints whom have had a prolific offense. It has been told that he was very attentive and asked a ton of questions and really studied what Brees and Peyton and all the great offensive minds there were doing.
Either way this guy is going to have a crazy rise in the college ranks after this season if things continue how they are for LSU so why not be the team to take the chance?

Will he have full control?
September 21st, 2019 at 10:53 PM ^
Why would he leave LSU for us? He’d cost a lot for one, but what quality OC is going to leave for what could be a one and done job at Michigan next year?
September 21st, 2019 at 10:55 PM ^
You nailed it. It would be a step down for him to come here. The guy has much more upside remaining there.

I think the OP is suggesting that we fire Harbaugh and make this guy the head coach
September 21st, 2019 at 11:33 PM ^
The title of the thread is literally “Joe Brady as OC”
September 21st, 2019 at 10:54 PM ^
We are not hiring and firing the OC for a third time, there is a common denominator here and that is Harbaugh is the issue.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:04 PM ^
Sadly you’re right. I’m just in this odd place of both feet off the Harbaugh train but my fingers are sort of still wrapped around hand rail of the exit ramp. I just can’t let go.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
So then make Joe Brady the HC.
Problem solved.

Did you happen to catch the USC vs Utah game last night? If you did, thats how the Offense should be playing.
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:58 AM ^
USC did it with their 3rd string QB as well. We can’t even do it with our starter.
September 21st, 2019 at 10:56 PM ^
I'll send an email to Warde and let him know who you want
September 21st, 2019 at 11:00 PM ^
I appreciate that thank you. Please tel them I’d like a raise as well.
September 21st, 2019 at 10:56 PM ^
No more first time OCs. Please.
September 21st, 2019 at 10:59 PM ^
Michigan may be an impossible job. They have all the resources in the world but no clue how to utilize them.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:23 PM ^
We should be noticeably better than PSU and Wisconsin with our talent and resources, but we're neck and neck or worse 2 of the last 3 years.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:01 PM ^
Sounds good. Who will be replacing the head coach and defensive coordinator.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:02 PM ^
Burrow isn’t a deer in the headlights type of Patterson QB.
Jimmy should offer the DL position to Hoke. Brady couldn’t do the head coach thing but he was a pretty good sausage eating defensive recruiter.
And please get Jay Harbaugh off the staff. 3 yards per rush against Army and now 2 per rush against Wisconsin. That dude is clueless.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:07 PM ^
You spelled Ed Warinner wrong.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:09 PM ^
I don't think 3 yards per rush is on the running backs coach. I'm looking at the OLine coach.
Ohio State, Florida and Wisconsin. Three blow outs. THAT is on the head coach.
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:49 AM ^
Our OL was actually pretty good last year. Their regression this season makes no sense to me. Runyan, Bredeson, Ruiz, and Owenu all are legitimately potential draft picks.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:05 PM ^
It’s joe burrow not any one else.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:17 PM ^
so funny people talking about new coaches. You're going to have to lose about six more games this season to get a new coaching staff next year, maybe seven more if you want a new head coach, then it's start all over again from ground zero, transfer portal turnstyle as guys exit. What a cluster.
September 22nd, 2019 at 10:01 AM ^
We can definitely lose that many games this year. Look we can keep Harbaugh and win 8-10 games most seasons or we can take a chance and try to get a coach that’ll win some important games.
Maybe the new coach will be worse?♂️ For what we pay for harbaugh we should at least try something else.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
Hire Urban Meyer as HC and Chip Kelly as OC. You’ll score like 95 points a game and always win. Bang bang, then we can stop posting stupid ass threads like this.
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:15 AM ^
Chip Kelly offenses no longer special
September 21st, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
Better make that HC.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:29 PM ^
Our new HC should pick whoever he wants as OC.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:45 PM ^
What new HC?
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:15 AM ^
Who gets Harbaugh’s old job.
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:29 AM ^
You're clueless if you think Warde is going to fire him regardless of what happens this season.
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:37 AM ^
Warde won't have to fire him. If this shit product on the field keeps happening, Harbaugh will walk away himself.
It's one thing to hear the "OVER RATED!" chant on the road, but once the boo birds come out at home consistently- he will walk himself.
September 22nd, 2019 at 4:03 AM ^
This is starting to look like that 2014 season for the 49er's. Harbaugh disengaged from the team. The product on the field not looking prepared.
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:55 AM ^
That is exactly the problem with this program.
Harbaugh deserves no latitude or long leash. Starting with OSU last year thru now, JH is failing miserably and seems to have no clue how to fix it.
September 22nd, 2019 at 1:43 PM ^
Once the fanbase makes a full commitment to turning on Harbaugh, there won't be anything Warde can do to stop it. If Juwan Howard comes out this season and falls on his face, Warde will follow Harbaugh.
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:37 PM ^
Jim will go to Miami and coax Luck out of retirement.
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:08 AM ^
Why would he want to come to a team that gets rid of one OC within one year of hiring him ? Why would he want to put himself under that pressure ?
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:33 AM ^
But would he bring LSU's O-Line with him?
September 22nd, 2019 at 1:28 AM ^
How about Joe Dirt? It doesn't make any fucking difference.
September 22nd, 2019 at 2:08 AM ^
We tried this with Alabama last year
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:26 AM ^
Jedd Fisch
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:45 AM ^
It's Burrow making Brady look good man. Shea aint no Joey Burrow.
