Kind of! He is far from average! Jabrill is still very quick and fast, yet poor angles/technique, especially on defense, nullify speed ....everyone is fast in this league.

So he returned a punt 20 yards and then got tackled at the 40 yard line. A mere 60 yards away from the end zone. I like Peppers a lot and think Michigan fans underrate him a ton.......but this is a pretty average punt return.

The average punt return in the NFL is nowhere near 20 yards, probably more like 5-8 I’d guess. It won’t go down in history or anything, but it’s way better than average.

a 20 yard punt return is "nearly housing it"? similar to Chris Fowler's "he's in the clear!" as a running back breaks past the first two levels for a 20 yard run.

He absolutely did not “nearly house” that. “came within 6 inches of hitting the hole.“ would be a better explanation.
Never got there, but damn was he close, probably still felt good though... not speaking from experience.
