Beautiful evening here, watching the sunset of Crooked Lake from my back yard and sipping on some Keewenaw Brewing Company Widow Maker and Red Jacket Amber Ale. What's in your glass?

I'm serious about the cooking. I have a chicken breast I'm breading with an egg wash and flour, and some white wine and half a shallot in case I feel up to a sauce.

Spending the weekend in Traverse City and stopped by Jolly Pumpkin for lunch. Tried the "Fist full of limes," which was one of their beers with lime, aged in tequila barrels. I'm glad I gave it a try, but it wasn't my favorite. The girlfriend tried something, can't remember the name, that was the Roja, aged in some sort of barrel, and it was fantastic.
