(Pushes up glasses) Georgia Tech made the 2012 ACC title game at 6-6 and needed a waiver to play in a bowl in the event they lost (they did). That is also the team that beat preseason #1 USC in the mysterious “Why is Lane Kiffin wearing sunglasses all day?” Sun Bowl Game in El Paso on NYE.

Does anyone know if Cooper DeJean is healthy or expected to be for this game? Not that I think Iowa wins either way, but he's the only Iowa player who scares me (other than their punter).

I’m trying to figure out which of those Iowa games was the dumbest.  Because there was futility in pretty much every one.  Their games against Minnesota and Nebraska looked like matchups of two teams who didn’t want to win.

I think the game to dissect the most is their game against Penn State, since they are the closest to us of all those teams in terms of talent.  I never watched that one.

I saw the game from start to finish. Iowa played strong D against PSU. Couldn't move the ball at all. Only 76 net offensive yards.

PSU had 397 but needed 97 plays. Neither ran nor threw the ball well. Lions' rushing stats were padded by 2nd string QB Pribula who came in for mop up duty. The main duo of Singleton/Allen got 121 yards on 38 carries.

Much of the normal Iowa playbook is junked because Deacon Hill isn't athletic enough to roll out. So the outside zone/boot concepts don't work together the way they're supposed to.

How the hell did they give up 16 points to MSU?  A team composed entirely of Lee Corso and Lou Holtz wouldn't give up 16 points to MSU.

We are going to see a tough, physical, motivated team one week after the emotional weight of the biggest win in program history. Several guys will sit, injured. It is going to take guts to win.

OSU game was a race to 30.

This game against Iowa will be a race to 14.

If Michigan gets two TDs, I'm not sure how Iowa is scoring more than that without some JJ pick 6s or something crazy like that.
