Interesting quote from Magnuson on this weekends visit
This is really nothing earth shattering and Tom has covered it already but I though that the last sentance in the article was interesting since it was a direct quote from him. I can't believe he was left off the ESPN 150 list. The article in not behind a paywall.
"Michigan is definitely my top school right now," Magnuson said. "I really don't know what to expect to be honest but I do want to make an early decision and if things go well, there's a chance I could commit while I'm out there.
is what I like to hear.
My gut says he pulls the trigger...just too much good talk coming from this kid recently.
Thanks for posting the quote. Great news. BTW, eff ESPN and their 150 - this kid's the real deal . . .
Wanna hear something even worse... they have Ondre Pipkins as a 3 star!
Tom when are you going to start your own recruiting database website, so the whole world can have some TomVH in their life?
He has his own site already.
giggitygiggity
Tom needs to teach him how to be more subtle with recruiting information.
In all seriousness though, awesome news. Thanks for sharing.
After that there is another paragraph in which he says
"I'm expecting to have a great visit. Right now, there really isn't even a close No. 2 or 3 for me, it's Michigan and then a lot of other schools. I want to have my decision made by the end of this month and I think I'll know a lot more after this weekend."
So hopefully if all goes well we will get some good news by the end of the weekend.
Who is the Four Star tackle visiting today?
Thank Ya, sir. Chris Barnett wanted to know on Twitter. Barnett said he is working on Erik Magnuson.
GO BLUE!!
I'm also a Bisnowaty backer. They say he plays with a high motor and a nasty edge . . .
Hopefully he commits while on campus. I want him to be all biz, no waity.
Would be a great addition to this class. Hope the visit goes great & get things wrapped up with this recruit. Next in line, Mr. Diamond.
sure doesn't hide his feelings does he? That's awesome news.
Hot Dawg!
The outlier when it comes to prospesct ratings. I trust their ratings the least.
A few years ago they rated Isaiah Bell as one of the best players in our class, and because of this I was really excited to see him play. That's proven to be not so correct so far. But he'll be just a RS soph this fall, and he's had as much practice hype as Demens had this time last year and look at him now.
Any chance that he's related to Magnús Ver Magnússon? If so, I think he'll make a great lineman!
