IMG Academy five-star athlete Keon Sabb will announce his college decision Saturday afternoon July 17 at 4 pm (EST) on CBS Sports HQ
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Sabb is tabbed by the Top247 as the country’s No. 1 athlete and No. 7 prospect overall.
“We talked to A&M yesterday and LSU yesterday, Michigan is every day,” Sabb’s father Antoine said.

Yeah I added Johnson as a “secondary guy” he’s big enough to be a safety if needed. But I agree it’s a shame they also haven’t gotten anyone drafted at that position or put them in the NFL. You know guys like Jarrod Wilson, Delano Hill, Josh Metellus. It’s too bad Michigan doesn’t know how to get or develop safeties.

Yeah, it is hard to know if this is good or bad unless predictions start flooding one way or another. Would be a huge get but I won't get my hopes up.
If someone says they want to wait and see how one of their teams looks prior to committing, and then plans to commit before the season starts, you can guarantee that kid is going elsewhere.
I think it is foolish to issue a guarantee when predicting the decision of a teenager. I agree I don't think this is favorable for Michigan.

Well that's not likely gonna happen, but Keon stepping in a filling the opening.
Dax is gone after this year. Kid just has to have a decent productive junior year and then he'll go in the first round just from his insane athletic measurables.
Dax should be drafted high but most likely a second round pick. It’s very rare for even an elite safety to be picked in the 1st round.

I agree that it is unlikely good news considering he said he wanted to see how we do but the coaches could have successfully recruited him to the point that he is confident in picking U of M.
Or a 17 year old kid could have possibly changed his mind about wanting to wait and see our season. But no, you’re right. Teenage kids are notorious for never changing their mind and always following through on their original plans.

1 - 3 confidence level CB from Wiltfong for Clemson (with no visit) from a month ago before his UM official.
With Clinksdale, Bellamy and MacDonald on him everyday and 5 schools in the mix I'd put our chances at about 20%.
