First and foremost congrats to Iggy.

If he were to stay he could have a Trey Burke like sophomore campaign by refining his game and then go after leading a pretty strong team next year. He could go this year but from what others have posted he’s not sniffing first round this year and there’s a significant difference. He could seriously improve his stock by coming back.

As always, he’s got to do what’s best for him.

i think he comes back for one more year. The major flaw in his game is he doesnt pass the ball well especially when hes driving into the paint.

I think it would be a terrible choice for him to leave at this point. He can probably shoot well enough, but he can't pass, he lacks court awareness, and he needs to get better at creating his own shot off the dribble. (He can also be pretty clueless on defense, but the NBA doesn't care about defense.)

I would argue that he took over against UNC.  He was brilliant in that game and got the best of Nassir Little (in dominating fashion, really).

He also took over the game at Northwestern to save the team which I would argue was a key game.  Any road conference game is key and without that performance, Michigan wouldn't have had the chance to win the title on the last day of the season.

The theme, however, is that his best work mostly came early in the season and once the scouting report was out, he had a tougher time.  Kind of reminiscent of Robinson's first month or two on the team.

One dimensional players who are really good at the one thing they do and started out hot but were taken out of their games by superb big ten coaching.

Iggy could certainly benefit from returning and adding more dimensions.

He was the only reason we had a chance at Breslin and throughout the BTT was rounding into our go to guy. I'd say those were some big game performances. I was doubting him after he scored zero in our first loss. Finished the season strong and it was needed in many games to get us rolling.

His great failing is he lacks maturity.   He obviously has the skills, but like you said, the lack of court awareness coupled with maturity.

It spoke volumes against the MSU game(s).  He's an excellent free throw shooter but he missed key free throws at times.  That to me is a function of mental toughness, which he just isn't quite there yet.  Especially with the amount of swagger he brings.

Is there a campaign that we can wage which might convince him to hang around another year? I think we need some kind of committee formed to come up with some ideas...

I volunteer you to lead that committee.  Your assignment is to tweet Iggy several times every day to personally convince him to stay another year.

BTW, how are you doing on your other assignment of tweeting Moe Wagner's little brother Franz?

We're all depending on you and your twittering skills...

I’ll play along. Very good college player. Rebounds his area well. Good spot-up shooter and finishes at the rim. No mid-range game yet. Needs some counter-moves. Would love him to develop some Caris LeVert pivots, but that would require some more flexibility.
