Can't you go to school, and work or play semi-pro football at the same time? Not really sure tho.

He just can't play for the NCAA. You're definitely allowed to go to school and hold a job.

He isn't playing college football. He is going to school, you know, for education... He can absolutely go to school and have a job. See: Shaq, Vince Carter, etc. Many athletes do it.

Thank you for clearing all that up. I feel just a little more informed, and I must be, cause you got 4 fucking points for those comments. Wow. I should get, like, OMG, 40. Goes to show what points are worth.

I'm pretty sure I got the points because of my avatar, fwiw. But yes, the points are whorthless.

yeah, because you're avatar is so original and cool. How did you even come up with that? Did you happen to watch the same video that everyone else did?

I know that Justin Abdelkader of the Detroit Red Wings still takes classes at MSU, and if I'm not mistaken Jack Johnson still takes classes at Michigan.

Semi-pro football teams don't practice every day. And guys like Clarett are barely forced to show up except on gamedays. My friends played for a team in Monroe County a few years back that had Major Harris and Ricky Powers on it. Let's just say that, according to my friends, they would have been practicing in wingless helmets if attendance was required.

What exactly is OSU doing giving him access to the football athletic center. I guess I understand the whole alumnus thing, but seriously, I think he needs to show some real progress, not just percieved progress, before you let him around the kids on the team again. What happens if it's more show than stuff, and he sends another kid down his path?

Well, he was the star player on their only national-title team of the past 40 years. We should be thankful that Woodson has represented our school a little better than that.

I really hope he gets his life together and I really believe the first step is to give up on football he has not played in years and I highly doubt he is in football size. He needs to take advantage of the fact he is still being allowed to take classes at OSU get his degree and hope that an alum will get him a good job inspite of his criminal record I hated him as a player but in the end I hope he turns things around (Same goes for boubacar whenever he starts taking the steps himself to turn things around)

It gives me hope that maybe Boubacar Cissoko can eventually get his life back together and turn it around also.

Slight title adjustment coming. Switching pronoun "he" to "Clarett" as to be more informative.
