I feel so bad for Nico, DPJ, and Tarik
From everything I’ve heard from friends and family, these 3 young men are extremely hard working and respectful young men. They are so poorly utilized and quite frankly their talents are not respected by the coaching staff. I wish they could have their talents showcased every game even if it wasn’t in a winged helmet. They believed in these coaches and were fed a train of lies. I hope they shine at the next level!

If only we had a serviceable QB to get them the ball ...Instead we are stuck with Shea .. It’s really a waste of talent
September 21st, 2019 at 5:48 PM ^
Idk, I kinda feel like Shea is a good QB who's being ruined by bad coaching
September 21st, 2019 at 5:50 PM ^
Brutus, I agree. Put your QB in situations where he is gonna succeed. For goodness sakes, he has 4 WR's (Bell, DPJ, Nico, and Black) that are all going to the NFL.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:51 PM ^
He has his good points. Seeing the field isn't one of them.
September 21st, 2019 at 8:29 PM ^
Hitting his targets in stride is not one either.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:55 PM ^
I agree. To me, Shea is mostly fine. The play calling and coaching seem to be the main issues with him. Some of the fumbles results in either being stripped from behind or pockets collapsing. It's hard to fault him with the bad offensive line.
WTF. I thought our offensive line was supposed to be better under Ed. It has been so long since our offensive line has been elite. It has to go back to the Carr days.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:14 PM ^
I was at the game today watching him and the choices he had. He had some outright fuckups for sure, but the far majority of the time receivers either seemed to be blanketed or the line was collapsing around him (or both). And I was 40ft above the field not trying to look over 6’7” linemen.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
Eh... he has some obvious issues with seeing the field and delivering accurate balls consistently.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:00 PM ^
Shea has talent, but he must be either lazy, stupid or both...because his inability to read coverage and poor throwing mechanics are his death-noll.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:03 PM ^
We have said that about Gardner, Morris, Peter's, Forcier... etc etc
No. Shea just isn't that good. The coaches play a part in him not looking good. But he is who he is and it's not a good qb.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:08 PM ^
I could not agree more.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:20 PM ^
Maybe Shea Patterson + Ben McDaniels isn't a good match.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:50 PM ^
While Shea has taken a big step back, you can’t overlook the OL’s regression either. As supremely talented as these 3 WRs are, they barely have time to get open. Expected better from another year of OL continuity
September 21st, 2019 at 6:04 PM ^
Pass pro is a much bigger problem than quarterbacking, IMO.

I feel worse for charbonnet.
Theres enough for these kids to all make the nfl.
Charbonnets only option looks to be a transfer
September 21st, 2019 at 6:18 PM ^
The kid's a true freshman and just started last week and gained 100 yards. What would he be transferring for?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:24 PM ^
I think he really values getting his education, so I can't see him leaving.
But really if Charbonnet wanted to leave I wouldn't blame him. And really part of me would feel somewhat relieved since I think the kid probably deserves to play for a good program.
Like other people have said, it seems that our players and recruits were lied to in serious ways.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:37 PM ^
how are they going to make it to the NFL without any film to analyze since they’re never used?
Wouldn’t be surprised if they all hit the transfer portal this offseason. It’s a damn shame.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:42 PM ^
They're all huge, fast receivers playing D1 football. Trust me, they'll get a look no matter who's not throwing them the ball.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:42 PM ^
They believed in these coaches and were fed a train of lies.
Gary's mom has hinted as much too.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:51 PM ^
and the Soloman's
September 21st, 2019 at 6:07 PM ^
Going great for him in TN as well.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:55 PM ^
Missed this. What did Gary’s mom say about the coaches ?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:01 PM ^
I said "hinted". Seesh.
Gary's mom did not flat out say, "Harbaugh did so and so".
But interviews and online she's talked about development, or lack thereof, of Rashan.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:07 PM ^
Wasnt Mattison the dline coach for Gary?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:39 PM ^
Got it thanks
September 21st, 2019 at 6:07 PM ^
Speechless...
Something is seriously wrong at Michigan.
We might need a full house cleaning including Manuel...
September 21st, 2019 at 5:42 PM ^
Yeah the portal will be loaded with Michigan kids next year if this shit storm continues
September 21st, 2019 at 5:51 PM ^
its loaded with Michigan kids every year
September 21st, 2019 at 5:54 PM ^
Maybe the best players are not playing.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:07 PM ^
Meanwhile MSU has nfl guys return to play. Same thing for basketball. Great program over there. No sarcasm
September 21st, 2019 at 5:47 PM ^
I don't know why so much attention is being given to Ronnie Bell by the offensive coaches. It is not making any sense. What is the reason? Black and Collins are being used as decoys? Throw them the mother fucking ball.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:49 PM ^
Ronnie looks pretty solid to me. That 1st huge gain was all him.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:03 PM ^
From what I observed the balls thrown to Nico are uncatchable
September 21st, 2019 at 6:15 PM ^
Because he is so fucking good.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:22 PM ^
So he's better than Collins?
September 21st, 2019 at 5:48 PM ^
Man, how pumped would I have been 20 years ago to get a free Michigan education. People go into debt for decades for such a chance.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:49 PM ^
Fuk all of you with the hot take bullshit. I've been thinking this for three years now.
If I am a 4 star receiver, or fuk even 3.5, why would I go to Michigan? It would be the most idiotic fucking decision in life.
Before you tell me to fuk off fuk you. I watch way too much CFB. EVERY fucking team I watch has a better vertical game than Michigan...… or at least they try. I don't know what the fuck Harbs promised these poor fucking saps that are our receiver corps. But they were way deceived.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:49 PM ^
This was essentially my first comment postgame. Its how Ive felt for a while now. Its one thing to suck but its another thing to waste all this talent.
Imagine Nico catching passes from Tua right now if he had stayed home. DPJ would be a fucking monster if he had a QB who could hit him in stride and let him use his athleticism
I was so hyped when we landed all 3 but Shea has failed to get them the ball as much as they should be getting it. This is obviously on Harbaugh too
September 21st, 2019 at 5:50 PM ^
3 good talents but they don't really get open much, none of them could start at Alabama right now.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
I don't buy that. People said the same about Darboh and Chesson in 2014. They both had 50 catches in 2015. It's the fucking scheme/QB.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:13 PM ^
I highly recommend you watch Alabama, they wouldn't see the field.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:26 PM ^
Bell wouldn't even be on the team.
But give Nico Collins Alabama coaching and he would play a lot there. Nick Saban wanted him badly.

I feel bad generally. Not going to watch any games going forward. Just sucks - I can’t stand looking at those candy ass Rich Rod play posters. Really bad flash backs to a shit era. Wisconsin owned us today and we looked like wimps.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:08 PM ^
Do you pay attention to any college football team but Michigan? Because 80-90% of them use those play posters.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:56 PM ^
We need a coach who can just utilize the talent we have.
September 21st, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
Cesar Ruiz too. They all could have had Bama scholarships and gave it up for JH.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:02 PM ^
What we really need is to get the TEs more involved in the offense. /s
