This chain of commentary devolved quickly... for a post that more or less points out how MSU players are trash humans it seems we've (quite needlessly but also eagerly) decided to stoop to their "dehumanizing of women" level here. How perfectly disgusting.

Aren't "Michigan men" above this depressingly low bar. Please tell me we are. I root hard for this school and its players mostly because I believe we are. Maybe that's ignorant of me.

I didn't know about his battery and public drunkeness charges in 2018. He sounds like a winner.

Spartans will.

Now this, and his arrest video last year, should be enough for the few sob sisters in these parts who openly bitched about M taking him off their recruiting board..... there were several vocal dissenters....

Can we maybe be better than exploiting the death of a young woman to get cheap laughs about a football game?

Aria Gerson is in the process of writing a great article about this... fans who "weaponize" real-life problems/scandals to score cheap points in a football rivalry.

To me it is more of a "I'm not shocked at all" tone. MSU has been allowed to circle the wagons and foster a breeding ground for their male athlete where violent crimes against women are allowed, covered up and swept under the rug.

The vast majority of us here are not laughing. We are concerned and disgusted but we also know it is par for the course.
