I officially ban Thursday night hockey games.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Michigan lost this game. They did not get beat.

ND goal 1- Shothanded goal. Stupid mistake

ND goal 2- Brainfart in the front of the net resulting in a wraparound. Big mistake

ND goal 3- Shot going nowhere hits Chiasson and goes in the net. Luck.

Please guys. For the love of God, you HAVE to help out these goaltenders. 10 goals given up in the past two games is UNACCEPTABLE. I'm not trying to be funny here but, THIS IS MICHIGAN FORGODSAKES!

Just win tomorrow. Get the 3. Not the 2. Not the 1. 3. 3. THREE. Do it for the hockey alums coming home tomorrow night for the rededication of Yost. Do it for Yost.

...truly terrible.

The boys were asleep tonight. Couldn't complete a pass to save their lives, didn't do anything at all in the 2nd and 3rd periods, couldn't possess the puck in the ND zone... they looked very tired. When ND scored to go up 2-1 I don't think anybody at Yost thought they'd tie it back up.

Speaking of which - crowd at Yost tonight was dreadfully silent. I know it was a horrible game, but at least from the students you'd expect an effort to rally the troops. One of the worst atmospheres at Yost I can remember and the place was nearly full. Students 10X louder for the fucking 2nd intermission dancing than at any point during the game (besides the first goal celebration). Very weak.

but I think you hit it on the head with "I don't think anybody at Yost thought they'd tie it back up.".  It's hard to cheer for a team you have no confidence in and I don't think anybody has any confidence in this team right now.  Not that they shouldn't be loud and energetic anyways, but it's hard to cheer when you don't believe the team can win, even at Yost.

They're just not on right now.  4-5-1 through the first ten games.  2-4-1 in conference, only 4-3 at Yost.  And the schedule only gets harder.  They need to go on a roll and really, really soon, or rely on another miracle CCHA tournament run, this time sans a Tiny Jesus.
